About this deal

This year's June Solstice (Summer in the Northern Hemisphere/Winter in the Southern) carries a bit of a punch with it as the Sun was moving from Gemini into Cancer, it was forming an inconjunct (quincunx) aspect to Pluto retrograde in Capricorn on the anaretic degree. The anaretic degree carries intensity to the next level. We feel unsettled by the influence of the last degree of any sign, and when there is an aspect between planets in the last degree of signs, we feel even more jittery with anticipation (or dread) of what is to come. When the Sun is moving from Gemini or Sagittarius into Cancer or Capricorn, it is a solstice event of either being the longest day of the year, or the shortest day of the year, which also adds its own level of intensity. Regardless, there is always a fresh change about to occur as we push into a new season. The waning part of the lunar cycle is when the moon grows smaller in the sky every night. This is the part of the lunar cycle that we use to let go of all that stood in the way of achieving your dreams and intentions. Use the moon’s waning energy to let go of doubts, fears, people, situations, beliefs and anything that stood in your way. To realign everything in your own life, to understand when you need to rest and self-care and when you need to shine and make things happen.

Kirsty has created a worldwide community through her Soul Space lunar yoga and meditation classes, and her Sacred Space seasonal yoga, meditation and ritual classes. One of her greatest passions in life is bringing together community, showing us that we are never alone. And she says she’s excited at the prospect of humans returning to the lunar surface for the first time since 1972. The simplest way to begin weaving lunar living into your life is to work with the new and full moon. This time round, Nasa wants to do things differently. The Moon is part of a bigger ambition to explore deep space, including Mars, so part of the plan is to establish a lunar outpost. Lunar Livingwill help you to: feel empowered to make big life decisions, understand yourself better, tune into your natural cycles and much more! The radiation comes from several sources. Galactic cosmic rays (GCRs) have lots of energy, but there are few of them. The Van Allen Belts around Earth contain trapped sub-atomic particles, but exposure to these is temporary. However, ways need to be found to protect against solar particle events (SPEs) - where the Sun periodically hurls electrically charged particles into space. During the final 2,000 feet (610m) of the automatic descent, Armstrong looked out the window and saw the LM was heading for a large crater surrounded by boulders as big as cars. Landing here would have been catastrophic.

The computers are of a type built for Boeing’s 787 commercial airliner. But they have been toughened up for the rigours of space travel, where G-forces, vibration and radiation can damage delicate hardware. “That’s why we have four sets of flight computers, it’s not because we expect them to burn out through electrical failure. It’s to handle that deep space environment,” Chambers adds. We already have a good understanding of the changes that occur to the human body in space. “I like to say that we literally become extra-terrestrials,” says Barratt, who is also a medical doctor. “Your anatomy changes, your physiology changes, your biochemistry changes. And we still function right along, it really is quite remarkable.” The Lunar Lantern emerged from Project Olympus, a research and development program made possible thanks to a Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) contract and funding from NASA's Marshall Space Flight Center (MSFC). Consistent with ICON's commitment to developing advanced construction technologies, the purpose of Olympus was to create a space-based construction system that will support NASA and other future exploration efforts on the moon.Kirsty Gallagher is a moon mentor, soul alignment and spiritual coach, yoga teacher, meditation teacher and Sunday Times bestselling author with an infectious passion for life.

We may learn some new information from our past.Orion was originally part of President George W Bush’s plan to return to the Moon, which was announced in 2004. When that programme was cancelled in 2010 under the Obama administration, it was the only element to survive. Could the moon change your life? How it holds the key to your health, happiness and even your wealth. Meet the expert who can prove it.' - YOU Magazine The purpose of the Gateway is really as a waystation to get to the surface of the Moon and push on to Mars,” says Pete McGrath, director of global sales and marketing for Boeing’s space exploration division. Fifty years on, the Moon landings remain a powerful symbol of what can be achieved when we mobilise our talents and resources to inspire. Rivalry with the Soviet Union gave the US a compelling reason to go, but it was fleeting. Once the space race had been won, Project Apollo continued for just six more missions before it was cancelled.

Absolutely fascinating. Your book is absolutely amazing, Kirsty. You're one of the best 10 guests of all time.' - Chris Evans, The Chris Evans Show on Virgin Radio .' - Chris Evans The New Moon is the beginning of your lunar journey. This is the time to get clear on what you want to create, manifest, and put into motion in the coming lunar cycle. Use the energies of the new moon to set your dreams, goals and intentions for the lunar month ahead. In other words, use what’s already there as much as possible to keep the costs down. Therefore, local resources will govern where the base should be located. In addition to the LTV, a pressurized rover will greatly expand lunar surface exploration capabilities to the next level. Pressurization means that astronauts can be in the vehicle in their regular clothing as opposed to wearing their spacesuit inside too. This will provide more comfort to work as they cross the lunar terrain in their mobile habitat and explore large areas. When they’re ready to go outside to collect samples or set up experiments, they would need to put their spacesuits on again.
