About this deal

I bought a toothbrush in Australia in 2017 which I believe, based on specs, is probably the Australian Pro 2000. It comes with a manual for 'Pro Trizone 1000-3000'. The quadpacer 2 minute timer featured on the Oral-B Pro 2 2000 2 is an on handle timer that “buzzes” every 30 seconds to let you know when to change areas of the mouth. It is a simple and ingenious way of letting you instinctively know when your 2 minutes of dentist recommended brushing is up. A visible timer would be useful aswell to know exactly how long you have been brushing for. You can get this by using the sound recognition from the Oral-B App which is available from Itunes and Google play although is not as reliable as Bluetooth connectivity. Visible Pressure sensor today, early 2019, we looking at the 2 generation of the 2K series and the 3rd generation of the 3K series. The Pro 1000 has a dimpled texture that runs the full length of the handle, whereas the 2000 has a series of raised plastic ridges. Those ridges start from just below halfway up on the handle and extend to the top of the handle. the Last one, the Pro 3 3000 would not win this review considering the only difference with the Pro 2 2500 is an extra bursh head.the price difference is 15 quids, quite expensive for a brush head!

Frustratingly, the brush does not remember the last cleaning mode used. This means every time you use the brush, you will need to press the power button twice if you want to use the sensitive mode. 1 press to turn it on and launch daily clean, a second to get to sensitive mode. You can’t change it before turning the brush on.

what about the number of oscillations, pulses etc. Do they make a huge difference? I read somewhere that the minimum to go for should be pro 2000 as it has 40,000 pulses per min. + 8,800 sweeps/oscillations .

The pressure sensor benefits new and even experienced electric toothbrush users, but admittedly new users get the greatest benefit. On the rear of the Pro 2 2000 brush handle, just below where the brush head attaches, is a red plastic panel. This is the visible pressure sensor. More details on this shortly, but know that the 1000 does not have it. Yes the it is waterproof and can be used in the shower if you so wish. How long is the warranty on the Oral-B Pro 2 2000? The Oral-B Pro 2000, 3000 and 2500 all use the 3D oscillating rotating mechanism of action at 40,000 pulsations and 8,800 oscillations per minute. They will therefore clean your teeth with the same power on the daily clean mode. The Oral-B Pro 3000 trumps the others by being able to adjust the pulsations and oscillations with a sensitive cleaning mode. If you do not have sensitive teeth, this function will be irrelevant for you. GDC number: 259369. Gemma qualified from Cardiff University School of Dentistry with BDS(Hons) in 2015.

The supplied white charging stand has a 2 pin power adapter hardwired into it, with a cable length of about 90cm. It supports 220-240v. All three toothbrushes provide you with a charging station. The Oral-B Pro 3000 is a little more fancy because it allows you to hold two brush spare brush heads upright next to it. This is pretty handy if you are sharing the electric toothbrush holder. With any brush head, do not forget to brush all three surfaces of your teeth, chewing, outer, and inner surfaces. In addition, the pulsation of the brush head will stop and the oscillation movement of the brush head will be reduced. If the battery is empty and there’s no charging light illuminated, put it on for 30 minutes and this will charge the battery enough so you can use it. Point 2 – Indicator LightsPassionate about business and helping others, Jon has been involved in various online enterprises since the early 2000s.

Our in-house dentists believe 3 features should be present in a good electric toothbrush. The Pro 2 2000 has them all. The timer and pacer help you to brush for the right amount of time In the past, electric toothbrushes could do damage to your enamel and teeth in general, if you brushed too hard or incorrectly. The most frequent complaint I’ve come across is the rubber grip perishing over years of use. I can’t comment on how common this is, but environmental factors, such as leaving it sitting in water, can have quite an impact. The Pressure Sensor Oral-B Pro 2, 2000 toothbrush, is the must-have brush for everyone who wants to switch to an electric toothbrush and improve their oral health. Features and Benefits The green light indicator will flash while the handle’s being charged. Once it’s fully charged, the light turns off. With pressure control, a 2-minute professional timer and 2 brushing modes it gives you a solid platform to brush correctly as a dentist would recommend. Both brushes come supplied with 1 brush head in the box. Most of the time this is a CrossAction brush head with either model. However, the Pro 2 2000 may come supplied with a 3D White or Sensi UltraThin brush head.
