About this deal

Similar to the Fearne by Swan, the 20460 comes with a 360 degree base making it ideal for left or right handed people. I’m a lefty myself so that’s a big plus for me… anything that makes moving boiling water easier is always good. Boil-dry technology comes as standard (as with many on our list) and a 360 degree base increases it’s ease of use. Safety features– Safety features such as illuminating when it’s on and cool to the touch are extremely useful to prevent burning. One thing which stands out is the overhead handle with ergonomic handle, allowing for easy pouring and protection against scalding. Its other features include a 360 degree base, boil dry protection, automatic shut off and a 3kW heating element. There's also a matching toaster available.

Followed by the Russell Hobbs 21888 in third… a great choice if you’re looking for bold colours and a traditional style. Overall, there is no better value for money than the 23211 Luna. It not as high-end as our #2 choice, but comparing price, style and dB level… there really isn’t a better choice. It also boasts a removable, washable filter, a concealed heating element and ideal pour water spout Featuring a 2.0 litre capacity, the HadinEEon Kettle is capable of boiling up to 10 cups at a time. It has a wide mouth for easy filling, a heat resistant and ergonomic handle, a 360 degree base, an up to 4 hours keep warm function, boil dry protection and automatic shut off. After drinking enough tea to last a lifetime (and a few coffees) we got a real sense of what to expect from a quiet kettle. Even though they’re not a necessity, they work wonders restoring peace and quiet to your kitchen.

The Russell Hobbs 21888 kettle is a contender for the best on this list. There’s almost too many features to talk about on this one but we’ll do our best! One of the more expensive kettles on our list, the Zwilling Enfinigy Pro justifies its lofty price tag with an ultra-modern design, commendable suite of features and solid performance. This sleek, space age kettle placed highly in both our exterior temperature and heat retention tests. Its peerless dual-wall insulation helped it maintain an outside temperature of just 29.4°C in use, while keeping the water inside at 94.6°C five minutes after boiling. In terms of functionality, the Enfinigy Pro boasts variable temperature settings ranging from 40°C to 100°C and a 30-minute keep warm function, all programmable via the touch buttons on its base. With the kitchen being the heart of the home, it’s most likely the noisiest as well. Anything that helps quieten noise in the kitchen and bring a little more peace to my home is a win. That’s why a quiet kettle is a life saver for me! Power Light Indicator - When the kettle is switched on, a power light turns on to indicate that boiling is in process.

The T10023 Kettle has a matching toaster with a very similar design. The kettle has most of the standard features, including a 360 degree base, a water window with gauge and safety features such as automatic shut off and boil dry protection. Hi, I’m AJ from the UK! I created Quiet Living to document my journey to a quieter life. Whether you’re looking to soundproof, fix that squeak or get rid of that loud noise… we’ve got you covered. If you don’t fancy the glass design, the Sensio is also available in copper or chrome. I personally like the glass better, but each to their own. It’s also worthwhile keeping in mind that with any glass kettle, limescale build up will be more visible. We’re also big fans of the old-fashioned temperature gauge on the front, which proved both charming and practical. We also like the smooth-acting temperature setting lever on the bottom, which allows you to heat water to between 50°C and 100°C, in 10°C increments, ideal for a variety of drinks. Once set in action, the kettle emits a soft white light and a calming low beep – it might sound silly, but the Artisan gives boiling water a truly luxurious feel thanks to deft design touches like these. Some reviewers have mentioned that a plastic insert needs to be taken out which isn’t in the instructions, so looks out for that. The kettle is 15 cm across the base, so it’s not a slim kettle by any means. There’s also been a few complaints of rust starting to build up so keep that in mind as well. Fancy something a little different? The Russell Hobbs Illuminating Glass Kettle stands out thanks to its unique physical design, as well as a few clever design elements. In use, the Illuminating Kettle, as its name would suggest, lights up its body and the water inside with a row of pleasant blue LEDs. The kettle is also capacious at 1.7l, has a one-button pop-up lid and bears a clear green marker on its body, which indicates how much water is needed for a single cup, helping you avoid water and energy waste.

In addition to saving energy, it also features many of the standard features people have come to expect from modern kettles in recent years. For example, boil dry protection in case the kettle is turned on without water, or the water is left by mistake and boils away. It also has a removable and washable water filter meaning there is some defence against limescale and natural metals present in hard water. With a 1.5 litre capacity, the ASCOT Glass Kettle has a powerful 3kW fast boil heating element. For safety reasons, it has automatic shut off and boil dry protection. Its standard features include a 360 degree swivel base, a removable/washable filter and an easy lift off lid. From a design point of view, the kettle is certainly well constructed. The style is more subjective of course, but in my view the 23211 Luna Kettle looks smart. It's a fairly compact modern style kettle which is sleek in its appearance and would go well together with other modern appliances. It would certainly be suitable style wise for most kitchens. Boasting rapid boil, simply fill the kettle enough for one cup and it’ll be ready in 45 seconds… not too shabby! The Russell Hobbs 20460 would be a strong stable in any modern kitchen. Equipped with a stainless steal fixture ensuring longevity, there’s not much wrong with the 20460. Equipped with a 3KW replaceable element, this kettle will last as long as you need. Simply replace with element to prolong it’s life. It also comes with a measuring scale at either side, so whichever way you have it faced, you’ll know exactly how much water you’ve added.
