The pouch measures 13 inch (L) by 7 ½ inch (W). I placed it on the kitchen scale with the belt, controller and charger inside – it weighed a paltry 12.6 oz. This is cheap enough for those who are in the ‘give it a try’ category, and if you have enjoyed the results on your abs belt and want to try it on those thighs… then this could be exactly the right product.While the controller might look the same, it doesn’t have the same specification (programs, intensity levels, etc.) and capabilities as this top-of-the-line device. Overall, this is an excellent toning belt and unless you need to push your budget further then you need read no more – if you do need a cheaper ab belt, then perhaps the Abs7 is for you. You’ll even go through build-up and cool-down phases each workout. This sure beats the thought of doing leg-lifts for most people! If you are looking for the out and out best ab toning belt then it simply has to be Slendertone. It is a close run thing between the Abs 8 and the Connect Abs and if you prefer app connectivity then the Connect might be better suited to you, if not (and it isn’t really necessary) then the Abs8 is our winner.
