About this deal

The VTech parent unit has a large 5-inch screen like the BT video monitor, displaying a comparable picture quality. It’s really simple to use with clearly marked buttons and a menu which is easy to navigate. The camera pans up and down and from side to side and allows you to zoom in. It also comes with an optional wide-angle lens which easily clips on to the front of the camera. The Angelcare AC327 emits more EMF than the competition in this lineup. While the jury is still out on the cumulative effects of EMF on developing systems, we believe less is better and err on the side of caution when we can. The AC327 emitted 3.1 V/m, which is high compared to the competition, some of which had no EMF. Should You Buy the Angelcare AC327?

Although I thought the monitor was a little expensive and over engineered, the design is really good – it’s an attractive monitor and it does work very well. I think overall, Angelcare do have a really trusted reputation when it comes to monitors and all of their products are attractively designed. It’s a shame because this was a nice-looking monitor with good sound quality (when its connection worked) and accurate sound-sensitive lights when muted. The default mode shuts off the screen if your baby is sleeping and only comes on if it detects noise or movement, or if you press to view. However, you can opt to watch your baby continuously, though this rapidly drains the battery on the parent unit.Unfortunately, like the Phillips, this Tommee Tippee monitor occasionally lost connection during my testing. It worked throughout my house and garden but randomly dropped out of range for short spells when sitting still in the rooms directly below my sleeping baby. This monitor has it all! I’d definitely recommend it to other mums as an essential piece of baby equipment because it offers complete piece of mind for nighttime sleeping. It makes life with a baby much easier as it reduces the fear of SIDS, plus, it enables you to get on with other things whilst your baby is asleep. And it doesn’t end there. On top of choosing between audio and video, some monitors incorporate movement sensors that lie beneath baby’s mattress and set off an alarm if they detect no movement. If you’re an anxious parent who constantly watches the rise and fall of your baby’s chest whilst they sleep, a movement monitor might help you to get some proper rest. For other parents, it could create more anxiety than it alleviates. A false alarm can be very, well, alarming.

I love this product used on both of my kids. Love the fact there is alarm for when the room is too hot/cold. I love that there is a heart monitor. The only down side is when the baby rolls of the mat and you are This clever baby monitor has all the gadgets you could need, including movement sensors, a colour touch screen, two-way communication and a temperature display. We like the option to rotate and zoom the camera – a great feature if you’ve got twins. What they say: You can also get smart monitors which connect to the internet, enabling you to watch your baby online or via an app on your phone. With these, you can be anywhere in the world and tune in to see your baby sleeping; or send a link to faraway relatives so that they can witness the bedtime routine. This is the monitor for you if you want total peace of mind while your baby sleeps, with the added benefits of learning ‘how’ your baby sleeps with all the activity data you can access. My daughter is now 6 months and to this day we haven’t had an false alarms from this monitor unlike some other leading brands. This Tommee Tippee audio monitor has excellent sound quality and conveyed my baby’s every utterance. When muted, its lights clearly flash whenever baby makes a noise. It has five blue lights in a horizontal line to show an escalating scale, which all light up when baby is loud and the far right one turns red when baby screams.
