About this deal

Coast Radar is more than just a UK Beach Guide, a set of interactive tools inspiring beachgoers and visitors to explore the diversity and beauty of the wider UK and Ireland coastline. I have to admit that I haven’t been to Costinesti since I was a student (that’s more than 10 years ago!) and the time spent there is mostly a blur, but I do remember enjoying my time, as well as the beach – but mostly the parties. Botany Bay is a beautiful beach surrounded by white chalk cliffs close to the town of Broadstairs. Parts of this Blue Flag beach are designated as ‘clothing optional’ although this stretch of coast also attracts families and dog walkers. Today it looks the same. Cheap, big, and crowded. To put things into perspective, the place is so crowded that you’d often find only a few available accommodations, which are a few km away from the beach. If you get too late to the beach, there won’t be any place to sit. Literally. Plaja Vama Veche

I’ve been asked this question ever since I wrote my honest opinion about Vama Veche and why I don’t recommend visiting Vama Veche beach anymore.

Brighton Naturist Beach, East Sussex

I’d recommend booking accommodation in Gura Portitei before arriving there. The prices are pretty high, but you have to consider that this is a remote location. Also, you are not allowed to carry any food or drinks on the boat, and you will have to buy everything from the local restaurants. It’s funny, even before reading about the Vema Veche beach, I guessed it was a naturist beach or was at one point. It just had that vibe to me.. hahah! Since l’m not really a beach person, I wouldn’t really mind any of them. Once in the water, I like the beach, but then l worry about all my stuff on the sand. We live even closer to the beach now, and didn’t go even once this past summer. He hates to go alone, and l hate to go :-). I will make the effort the coming summer though. I need to start enjoying it. Reply All the beaches from the Danube Delta can be reached only by boat, and each tourist needs to buy a visiting permit.

Since moving to Constanta, I’ve started to appreciate the beaches in the city a lot more than before. I didn’t like 1 thing: our children’s have found in the sand while playing in the sand some rusted nails (holsurub), extremely dangerous for some kids that are age of 2-3 years old. This is one of the nearest beaches to Bangalore and one of the most underrated one as well. It is in Mangalore which is 6 to 7 hour drive from the main city. Apart from the famous Panambur Beach in Mangalore, make sure to stop by at this beach. It is less crowded and perfect to enjoy a relaxing evening along with some refreshing drinks. While there may not be beaches near Bangalore within 100 km, this is one of the closest ones. Gunung Payung Beach on Google Maps 21. Melasti Beach – best for a scenic drive Drive down the iconic road to Melasti, and you’ll find pristine white sands and party vibes! (Photography: Oktomi Jaya on Unsplash)You can reach Frinton-on-Sea in about 90 minutes from Liverpool Street, including a change of trains in Thorpe-le-Soken Balangan Beach on Google Maps 13. Blue Lagoon – best for spotting Nemo At Blue Lagoon, the name says it all – here you’ll find white sands, a calm blue sea & Nemo’s friends & family! Until recently, this was a wild beach, but new constructions – restaurants and taverns mostly have changed it a bit. Wild and free and practically lunar-like, Chavakkad Beach is a tremendous landscape – four miles – of brilliant sands upheld by pine woods and immense sand rises held set up by wildflowers and marram grass. A green surrounding at elevated tides to frame a tidal pond. It is one of the best places to grab a brunch with your friends or family. At Parkdean Resorts, we’re BIG on beaches! Lots of our holiday parks place you close to the coast. Look out on shimmering waters when you visit Scotland's beachesor marvel at the caramel-coloured sands on the Isle of Wight.

This beach is close to my first recommendation, but you’ll probably enjoy it better since it has finer sand, it’s larger and the water is nicer, being more shallow. When you feel like you’ve ventured to all of Bali’s best beaches, swam in all of its seas and soaked up all of its sunshine, head to Sanur’s main harbour and hop on a 30 minute fast-boat over to the neighbouring island of Nusa Lembongan. As Bali’s lesser-known and quieter sibling, Nusa Lembongan has a whole host of stunning beaches that are relatively untouched. Dream Beach is one of the most famous (and loveliest), and though it’s garnered quite a bit of tourist attention, it’s still no match to mainland Bali. Hire a scooter to really explore this teeny island’s coastline, and look out for Mushroom Bay, Sandy Bay and Paradise Beach too. The names say it all… This is the luxurious version of what is today Vama Veche and those who used to love Vama Veche used to say that Mamaia is the worst place. I think you get the idea.

This is definitely something you can grow used to – you don’t have another choice, actually, and it’s not really that bad: there are still areas on these popular beaches where you won’t hear the music (as much) so you have some options… but be prepared for a lot of noise and huge crowds of people. Select your ‘From’ Departure airport & ‘To’ arrival airport, enter your departure date and number of passengers.Brighton Beach is home to the first official nudist beach in the UK, and it’s still a popular place for naturists today. The southern English city is renowned across the globe for its tolerant attitudes, which extend right down to the shoreline along Brighton Beach. Part of the set of resorts with their names coming from the Greek gods, Venus is the place that grew the most (out of the bunch, at least) in recent years. It’s still not as popular as others and not as party-oriented, so better for relaxing. Salty hair, sandy toes and red wine lips, Louise is a die-hard island addict and committed vino-phile. When she’s not writing, she can usually be found beachfront with a slightly chilled, full-bodied Merlot in hand, her Bali dog at her feet and the Spice Girls playing on repeat. Jimbaran Bay on Google Maps 5. Thomas Beach – best for secluded beach walks & sunbaking This secluded strip of white sand at Thomas Beach is well worth descending down the cliff for Our aim at Coast Radar is “ Inspiring people to visit the UK & Ireland coast & beaches” and we want more people to understand the UK is such a diverse landscape.
