Like the characters in the story, many of us do lose ourselves from time to time. We make bad choices and set wrong priorities. We let materialism blind us. In answering the question what really matters, perhaps couples can work out their issues and avoid the pains like our characters are suffering in this drama. My name is Cherissa Moore, and I am a 29-year-old Foundation Level student. This essay will utilise the Price and Maier 3R’s (2007) Reflective Model and will be formatted as “A letter to my younger self”. It is encouragement to the adolescent I once was; to embrace who I am, persevere and never give up.

It’s okay if you have not got in life what you actually wanted for yourself but He is already having a master plan for you. It’s okay if you still don’t know what you actually want from life but life knows what it has in store for you. It will surprise you with all the gifts it has for you. As I am becoming more mature every year, I am starting to realize one great truth. Legends don’t come on this earth in great numbers. They are rare, just like me. Happy birthday to myself! Your journey to self-love will not be easy and at times you will want to give up; don’t. Regardless of what others may say or think, you are unique and can only ever be you. Embrace yourself and continue your current path. One day you will discover that it was not for nought. I would not make any changes to the life we have lived, as I do not believe in making mistakes. But the purpose behind creating all the difference is that each person should create some difference. Something that can’t be done by everyone. You are good at something other one is not. And you have to be happy about this fact. They are good at something you are not good at. Will you cry for that? Will you be depressed about it? When we talk about the concept of diversity, individuality is what has to be taken into account because if it wasn’t about individuality it would never have made all the diversity that is around. OK try to be diverse. Nobody is setting boundaries for you. And never let anybody to do that to you, to sew your wings. Be diverse but don’t try to be someone. Learn but not lean. Earn but not be greedy. Be diverse by maintaining your individuality. Just because I am {age} doesn’t mean I am old. It means a new life starts for me.
