The simple, fuss-free operation of the camera makes it the perfect choice for anyone who wants to have fun capturing candid photos of their friends and family. I capture so many more smiles on a camera like this than any other in my kit. And that includes digital, where I can shoot 10 frames per second. The pictures above are from the Kodak H35 and despite the fact that it’s a half-frame camera with a pretty nothingy lens, I’d still say these shots are just fine. I wouldn’t say there’s anything particularly bad about them. You need to take your time with these cameras because the shutter speed is only 1/100. This means that there’s a chance that you could take a blurry shot if you’re not taking your time.Shooting into the sun can create a unique lens flare. This lens flare comes out circular. Some photographers can use this to their advantage. But as a whole, in photography, you don’t want to shoot directly into the sun. An example of lens flare Low-Light Photography For 800t, I don’t think it will be possible to take clear night photos with the Kodak Ektar camera — at least not without using flash. The camera has a fixed f/10 lens with an approximately 1/120th shutter speed, meaning even with high speed film pushed to the maximum ISO 3200, you won’t be able to capture anything other than the brightest lights at night. For good night photos, you’ll want a manual 35mm film camera with an f/1.8 lens.

Ektar H35 half-frame camera Retopro announces Kodak-branded Ektar H35 half-frame camera

The new Kodak Ektar H35 is a point-and-shoot half-frame 35mm camera that will yield an economical 72 photos per single roll of 36 exposure 35mm film. If you take the time to be as still as possible, almost acting like a tripod, you can get the best results. It is hard not to fall in love with this camera. Often, the most enjoyable parts of photography involve a camera that allows you to be free… to not worry about the endless settings found on digital cameras. What does make a bit of a difference is the lens, the Ultra F9 has a 31mm lens and the Kodak H35 has a 22mm lens. This might seem like a big difference but the Ektar H35 is a half-frame camera, so actually, the lens is more like a 31mm focal length, so they’re effectively the same.Additionally, the viewfinder could be better. As is, the Kodak H35 has a mesh pattern to indicate where the exact frame is. In particular light, it isn’t always easy to see. The manufacturer should have spent an extra dollar to shade it out completely.
