The Nerf Elite 2.0 Turbine CS-18 blaster has 4 tactical rails and a barrel attachment point so you can customize it for each mission or battle. This motorized blaster has an 18-dart clip and launches darts fast -- hold down the acceleration button to power up the motor, then press the trigger for rapid-fire blasting. Includes 36 Official Nerf darts -- load 18 in the clip and keep the other 18 nearby for reloads. Fires darts up to 90 feet (27 meters). Eyewear recommended. Barrel extension and eyewear not included. Batteries required (not included). Sadly, the Turbine shares this feature. Which is a shame, because otherwise, it might be the best of the line so far. Even so, it may have some mod potential if you manage to open the shell.

The access door: This is used for clearing out any jams or malfunctions in the blaster. This feature is available mostly in 80% of the Blasters Nerf has made. The point is here that the access door to the blaster is made from very cheap plastic that ruins the brand reputation on the blaster. CMON ON NERF! Nerf is a very big brand when it comes to Blasters. Nerf should make them using High quality stuff.

Some Turbine blasters have an issue when attempting to fire only one dart at a time. This can cause the blaster to fire off bursts of two to six darts, instead. [ citation needed] Similarly, the clip release button can be stiff, depending on the blaster, due to the use of a plastic spring rather than a metal spring.The Turbine does have some hope. There are just a few screws. Careful application of plastic prying tools (found at the hardware store) will then let you separate the shell and undo most of the clips. My blaster had four structural posts and one clip solvent-welded together. I was able to pry the shell open enough to use a thin blade to slice through them. A thin saw or a rotary tool might also work, if prying doesn’t pop them open. FIRES DARTS UP TO 90 FEET (27 METERS): Go the distance with this blaster that fires darts up to 90 feet (27 meters) However, things start to go downhill from there. The flimsy jam door from the Phoenix is here, as well. The triggers, due to their use of plastic leaf springs, feel off – it’s like there’s a metaphorical hill to climb over before the switches engage. Even worse, it’s actually painful to use the magazine release. It hurts your index finger to press forward, and that kind of kills it in terms of user friendliness. I realize Hasbro wants blasters they can assemble cheaply and easily, but these things were poor choices. Performance If one were to add up all the holes in the metallic teal part of the shell, it would add up to exactly a hundred.
