Evoke H3 can be powered by the supplied mains adapter or with the optional ChargePAK B1, giving you up to 30 hours of truly portable listening. Will alarms, presets or other saved settings be deleted if my radio is disconnected from the mains? As other members have stated it appears that it is unable to be fixed by Pure's reapairer RadioFix.

If you are talking about use in the UK, then your Pure Evoke will be fine for many years. FM switch-over to DAB is not even going to be until (at least) December 2015 and then I imagine it will be many more years after that until DAB+ is launched.
