Lotus Flower extract, which makes up 75% of content, has a remarkable ability to self-purify. Though rooted in mud, the lotus flower blooms gracefully due to its special ability to self-purify and cleanse. Key Ingredients: Niacinamide is the star ingredient in here (I can’t seem to find any papers discussing distilled Lotus Water and any benefits when applied to the skin topically). Niacinamide helps fortify the skin’s barrier, moisturises the skin, brightens the skin and recent research has shown it may be a potential antioxidant. It’s also sebum regulating (so could be good against pimple formation). Kaempferol is added which is an Antioxidant (soothes the skin). Sugar - as a skincare ingredient it has water-binding properties, which means that it helps to keep your skin nice and hydrated.The content of sweet almond oil makes it a great emollient; it can help soften and hydrate your skin. Emollients create a barrier over your skin to trap moisture in. Sweet almond oil has antioxidant properties. This may help with anti-aging, as antioxidants help fight free-radicals. Free-radicals are unstable molecules that may damage your skin's cells.
