About this deal

Sometimes simple really is best! This gentle bubble cleanser is formulated at ph 6.5 with an ultra-minimal formula - perfect for sensitive skin types

I have completely fallen in love with pump type foam cleansers to the extent they have become a staple in my skincare stash. I like them because they are so easy to use and saves time. The Etude House Soon Jung Cleanser is a latest addition to my skincare routine. This cleanser has been raved a lot for its minimal ingredients and suitability for sensitive skin types. I’m impressed with the fact that it contains 98% naturally derived ingredients. But did it meet my expectations? Read on. Product Description:If you don’t know by now, then you better prepare for just how much snail mucin filtrate is evident in Korean skincare. For the uninitiated, it is exactly what it sounds like. It looks like Etude House took notice that some people thought the ph of the whip cleanser is too high, so they released this new cleanser at a lovely ph of 5.5! Woot! If (similar to us) you are in the weird habit of reading the label on your shower gel while taking a shower, you might have noticed that sodium chloride is almost always on the ingredient list. They help loosen up the dirt and grime from your skin and hair to allow for water to wash it away with ease.

This list of ingredients represents all options or variants of this product. Actual ingredients in a given product option may vary from this list. Many acne-affected individuals will find that many foam cleansers contain harsh chemicals that exacerbate their skin condition and cause them to break out even further. I found citric acid (an AHA) to be an interesting ingredient, but the wash is still mild enough for daily use (or twice a day). Foam cleansers are known to be the go-to option for people with oily skin, however, Korean foam cleansers are suitable for most skin types. With the inclusion of ingredients such as egg extract, aloe vera, green tea, and even snail mucin, even those with super sensitive skin can find an option suitable for them.WATER / AQUA / EAU, SODIUM COCOYL ISETHIONATE, GLYCERIN, HYDROXYPROPYL STARCH PHOSPHATE, SODIUM METHYL COCOYL TAURATE, DECYL GLUCOSIDE, POTASSIUM COCOYL GLYCINATE, CETEARYL ALCOHOL, GLYCERYL STEARATE, SORBITAN OLIVATE, GLYCOL DISTEARATE, POTASSIUM COCOATE, CAPRYLYL GLYCOL, CITRIC ACID, POLYQUATERNIUM-67, GLYCERYL CAPRYLATE, DISODIUM EDTA, SODIUM ACETATE, SODIUM CHLORIDE, PANTHENOL, PENTYLENE GLYCOL, MADECASSOSIDE

Containing fresh fruit and plant extracts as well as a plethora of amino acids and vitamins B3 and B2, this cleanser works hard to cleanse your skin but works harder to treat your pores. This super creamy foam cleanser is a fantastic choice for those with dry skin. Whilst it’s still very gentle when lathered onto the skin, it works well to remove impurities from the surface level of your skin, leaving you feeling clean and refreshed. Like most, if not all, Korean skincare products, Korean foam cleansers are formulated with only the gentlest, most nourishing ingredients in mind. That’s not to say that their performance is mild. In many cases, users have claimed that Korean foam cleansers are indeed one of the best cleansers that they’ve ever used!

1. Innisfree Green Tea Foam Cleanser

If that wasn’t enough panthenol is also useful in nail and hair care products. A study shows that a nail treatment liquide with 2% panthenol could effectively get into the nail and significantly increase the hydration of it.

Use as the first step of your skincare routine, or after an oil-based cleanser. P ump a small amount into your palms, and lather into a foam. Once rinsed, my skin is always left feeling soft, refreshed, and thoroughly cleansed. All without dryness or stripping (if anything, I did notice a very slight reduction of redness on days when my skin was feeling overworked). Most of the cleansers I use these days have a pH of around 5.5, so I was worried initially that this cleanser (while geared towards sensitive skin) may be too harsh for me. But, Soon Jung never lies (haha) and I had no issue with this one.Another promising property ofMadecassoside is that it seems to inhibit UV-induced melanin synthesis (test formula with 0.05% MA, used twice a day on 23 volunteers for 8 weeks ), making it a great active for hyperpigmentation-prone skin. Ingredients list: WATER / AQUA / EAU, SODIUM COCOYL ISETHIONATE, GLYCERIN, COCO -BETAINE, POTASSIUM BENZOATE, SODIUM CHLORIDE, ACRYLATES/C10-30 ALKYL ACRYLATE CROSSPOLYMER, CITRIC ACID, TROMETHAMINE, DISODIUM EDTA, PANTHENOL, PENTYLENE GLYCOL, MADECASSOSIDE It will leave your skin feeling fresh, clean, dewy, and moisturized. You will never feel stripped of essential oils or left out to dry with this cleanser.
