About this deal

If you’re more of a beer drinking, head behind Denbies and you’ll find the Surrey Hills Brewery. I really fancied a thirst-quenching pint (despite the weather!), so that’s where I headed.

Opening on the 27 th May 2022, you can explore the world of science within the universe of Doctor Who at Liverpool’s World Museum. This is an immersive experience with artefacts, props and sets that completely brings to life the Doctor’s many adventures through space and time. 17. See where they film ‘I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here!’ in Wales See where they film ‘I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here!’ in Wales Once you come to the road, turn right and follow the road past a couple of houses. This will take you to Chapel Lane. Turn left and follow the road past Badgen Farm for about 200-400 metres. This is the only section of the walk where you’re walking on a road, so please be careful. Even though this is a quiet road, it’s always good to be aware of cars. This is the only section where you have to walk along the road Walk through the wood gate past Bagden Lodge Eat huge, juicy, fresh oysters, slathered with lemon, vinegar and tabasco, right on the pebbly beach looking out at the sea.Things to do in the UK in 2022 1. Celebrate the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee Celebrate the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee Dine at Simon Rogan’s 2 star restaurant L’Enclume, Cottage in the Wood (our current favourite) or HRiSHi (the one that’s on our can’t-wait-to-visit list!)

I’m a massive history buff, so I loved the idea of having lunch in an old fort where the Romans once walked. More on that below. Section 3: Ambresbury Banks This is the Ambresbury Banks in Epping Forest The first section of the walk is quite confusing with lots of different directions to follow. I nearly got lost a couple of times, so I thought it’d be a good idea to go into each direction in detail. I really want to make sure you guys know where you’re going! Head further north, just outside of Inverness and you’ll find Scotland’s most famous loch – Loch Ness. It’s 23 miles long, and the largest lake in the UK if you’re measuring by volume. Loch Ness is another of the largest lakes in the UK If you’re looking for a proper British seaside destination with an old school pier and gorgeous golden sandy beaches for as far as the eye can see, then say hello to Cromer. Located in the north west of Wales, Portmeirion isn’t your average Welsh holiday spot. If someone blindfolded you and placed you here, you’d be forgiven for thinking you had been whisked off to a colourful Italian village!Rutland Water in the East Midlands is the UK’s largest reservoir (by surface area). It is river filled, but was made by damming. You’ll find great leisure facilities here, including water sports, boating, fishing, and even a summer aqua park! Pride didn’t happen last year because it was postponed, so this year is a bumper event celebrating Brighton Pride’s 30 th birthday party. This is one of the oldest LGBTQ+ events in the UK and it’s always an all-singing, all-dancing carnival of colour. Spend your pennies on Gloucester Road and Stokes Croft, home to the largest strip of independent retailers in Europe. If you’re on a budget and you want to grab something to eat on the green, there’s a Tesco Express. However, I’d recommend popping into one of the two pubs. The Bull is very close to Theydon Bois tube station

Loch Morar is the deepest freshwater lake in the British Isles with a depth of 310m. That’s the same height as London’s tallest building! An ancient pagan religious temple? A meeting place for a secret sect? Or a whimsical underground venue for extravagant parties? You’ll pass a power station box on the right and a Denbies Estate sign on the left – this means you’re almost at Denbies! The next part of the route takes you through more rolling hills, Frogmore Meadow Nature Reserve and close to the village of Chenies. This village is famous for its 15th century Tudor house – Chenies Manor, however the walking route doesn’t go directly past, so you’d need to factor in a little detour if you want to see it for yourself. Latimer to Chesham

Your Great British Packing List

In total, Epping Forest is 6,000 acres in size making it the largest public open space within London. That means it’s perfect to go walking and hardly come across any other people. If you’re looking for solitude, you’ll find it here. Keep your eyes out for mushrooms on the Oak Trail in Epping Forest Llyn Tegid (or Bala Lake) is the largest natural lake in Wales. It has an approximate area of 1.8 square miles.
