About this deal

The most important thing to note about these gloves is that they unfortunately run very big. The smallest size felt enormous on my hands, rendering them basically unable to truly be touchscreen compatible for me. The touchscreen fingertips were also only featured on the thumb and pointer fingers. However, I will say these are very, very soft. So soft that I actually ended up using them as regular gloves and didn’t even care that I had to take them off to use my phone. If you have not-so-small hands, these are fantastic and incredibly warm for daily use. — Rachel Lubitz, senior lifestyle editor

These gloves from North Face are a bit different, as they’re designed specifically for winter sports like skiing or snowboarding – or just more serious winters. PrimaLoft GOLD insulation traps heat remarkably well, and the Pertex Quantum shell offers a good amount of wind resistance while still allowing the fabric to breathe. While these aren't quite hardy enough for proper expeditions, for running, hiking and general casual glove-wearing, they'll work a treat. On their own, these aren't built for all-out warmth – instead, they're geared towards active use, milder weather, or for wearing underneath a pair of ski gloves. The big logo means they might not be everyone's top choice for urban wear, though. This product offers enhanced control via a zero liner movement, dexterity is covered via pre-curved fingers and grip is enhanced via a PU suede palm. The velcro-activated cuff is not the longest but the denser material on the palm side might help air from escaping. Whether you’re escaping the cold or embracing it, our favorite throws, slippers, space heaters, and more will keep you toasty until spring. These are a really attractive-looking pair of gloves with a slim fit. The wrist definitely fits snugly, so consider sizing up from your normal glove size to ensure they fit. Because of the tight fit, they work really well on screens and can definitely be dressed up or down depending on the color you choose. — Rosanne Salvatore, deputy editor Lululemon Warm Revelation Gloves Tech Not only are these gloves from The North Face sustainable, but they’re also very comfortable. I’ve been testing them in close-to-zero temperatures, in heavy rain and in snow. They’ve kept my hands warm and they’ve also allowed me to be quite functional. Thanks to a coating on select fingers, I’m able to easily interact with my smartphones (iPhone, Pixel and Galaxy S22 included) and Apple Watches. — Jacob Krol, tech and electronics editor

Materials: Outer: 52% Polyester, 27% Polyamide, 18% Polyurethane, 3% Elastane; Middle: 100% Polyurethane Membrane; Inner: 100% PolyesterThe Glider Gloves offered the most control and accuracy among those I tested. The Canadian manufacturer uses conductive copper in the yarn, so every touch registers. You can tap and swipe with any part of your hand, pinch to zoom, and use your whole fingers, not just the tips. These Schwer work gloves come highly recommended by Grant Zwayer, the founder of Cedar Hill Design & Co., who highlights their high touchscreen compatibility. “Other gloves always feel like a compromise,” he says. “With these, I don’t miss customer calls trying to remove them — I can just answer the phone.” While the Schwers aren’t UR-powered, the brand has its own technology that allows usage of all ten fingers.
