About this deal

Imagine if your nerf gun could eject shells after every round like a real firearm? We’ll dream no longer because the Winchester 1887 Lever Action Shotgun does precisely that!

Barrel • Clip well • Cylinder • Jam door • Muzzle • Priming indicator • Priming mechanism • Safety • Sling mount • Tactical rail ( RIVAL • BOOMco. • Buzz Bee • Dart Zone • X-Shot • Picatinny) • Trigger ( Acceleration trigger • Firing trigger) • Turret • Unjamming button Next was 3.75" of brass. This caused about the same range as the 5" copper, but slightly less accurate and the same jamming issue. It has a single tactical rail on top that is compatible with any N-Strike accessories and a very clean feeling action on the lever. This ROBLOX-themed Nerf gun is inspired by the Roblox game Adopt Me! and launches darts at an average of 70 FPS. The Scravenger includes 26 Zombie Strike Darts (green elite darts) and two 12-round magazines. The magazines are spring-fed, which tend to feed better than many of the new hopper-fed nerf guns. It also has a tactical light attachment and two tactical rails: one below the muzzle and another on the handle.

As its name would suggest, priming mechanisms are involved in the priming process of a blaster, readying it to be fired. There are many different versions of priming mechanisms, and the mechanism used differs from blaster to blaster. Almost all mechanisms use some sort of priming handle (e.g. a pump handle or lever handle) which allows the user to prime the blaster.

This unique-looking blaster has a sawed-off shotgun and zombie theme, and the finer details of its design really sell that experience. The Slingfire comes with a 6-round magazine and six green Nerf elite darts but can be upgraded using any N-Strike Elite magazine—including a 25-round drum! Booyah! On some models, the jam door may be loose and may open unintentionally. This can be fixed by wedging a small piece of paper behind the hinge of the door or tightening the screws around the jam door. The Slingfire would have been number one on this list if it hadn’t recently been discontinued. BUT there is still a decent supply of them floating around online, so I’ll leave it on this list while they are still widely available.IAmBobololo (2014-07-02). Review: Nerf Zombie Strike Slingfire Unboxing (It's disappointing!) (Video). YouTube. Retrieved on 2014-09-02. There are various modifications that can be performed on a blaster's priming mechanism, such as adding material for a better grip. Conversions can be performed on some blasters, making a blaster have a different priming style altogether; this is more traditionally done to transform bolt-action blasters to pump-action, through a homemade or 3D-printed converter. The term is used interchangeably sometimes by Hasbro as well; the "Elite Repaint" Longshot CS-6's description calls its front blaster slide-action rather than pump-action. The first thing you’ll notice when you take the Winchester 1887 out of the box is that it is hefty. This isn’t a cheap plastic toy that will break within a week and is made of solid aluminum and hard ABS plastic.

The pre-production model features a green jam door, rather than the orange one seen on the final product. Breech-action has been criticized for poor performance, as some blasters may cause darts to warp and bend when they are loaded. The plastic shell uses a unique dart—the length is shorter than a standard nerf dart but longer than a half-length dart. The shells are also compatible with any other half-length darts. If you want a lever action blaster with a large ammo capacity that will spray lines of foam in your future nerf battles, look no further than the Nerf Elite 2.0 Flipshots Flip-32. That’s a mouthful. Let’s start with the coolest features that set it apart from other nerf guns: slam-fire action, naked-gun mode, and a removable two-shot sidearm. This blaster flings darts at an average of 75 FPS, which is an average speed compared to other nerf guns and makes it an excellent option for younger children and adults alike!

It is the one of three Nerf blasters to be able to fully function with the jam door open, the others being the Revonix360 and the CrossBolt. It uses an eight-dart non-removable rolling drum and comes with eight orange Nerf Elite darts. Loading this blaster is on the slower side as you must load from the left side and manually spin the drum for each dart. The SlingFire was the second Nerf blaster to feature a lever-action mechanism for priming, the first being the Multishot Madness Diatron. This spring-powered war machine can hold up to 32 nerf elite darts in its two massive drums and uses Nerf’s “flip shot” technology. As for the performance, the Nerf Slingfire is advertised to reach 75 feet, but during testing, it falls short of that number and hits an average of 65 feet. It averages about 70 FPS, which is in the upper range of dart-type nerf guns. The Flipshot also has a two-stage trigger. A half-pull shoots a single shot, and a full-pull will shoot the second dart. So you can choose to shoot one dart at a time or both! The blaster includes six shells, 20 darts (ten suction darts and ten standard darts), eye protection glasses, and white gloves.
