Don't forget to include the wattage of the charger, but assume that you can ignore 12V items running directly from the battery(ies) - e. The supply on Club Sites (and most other campsites) is designed on the basis of diversity so the main site supply is geared up to an average electrical usage, not all hook-ups taking 16A at one time. A domestic kettle for example uses around 2,000 Watts or about 8 amps, a hair dryer around 1,000 Watts or 5 amps. Fortunately, with the coming of standardisation within the European Union, voltage supply problems are fewer than before.

Raise the cover of the electricity outlet provided on the pitch supply point and insert the blue plug (male) of the supply cable (On some bollards you will need to turn it clockwise until it locks, on others there is a flick switch), please ask your site team if you need help. Its always a good idea to check that the electricity supply to your caravan or motorhome is working correctly. Campsite mains supply have a maximum rating of 10 amps, although many have now increased this to 16 amps. As an extra check – especially if you are camping abroad – you can plug a proprietary mains tester into a socket to check the polarity of the supply and the presence of an earth connection (see Camping on the continent). Are the relatively essential items I've mentioned above likely to trip the leccy or would I have ample spare capacity? If possible, we’d prefer you to limit the use of electricity during periods of high demand by using low wattage appliances.
