The modernity of Japanese whisky mixed with the smoothness of American bourbons and the heritage of Scotch whisky. for a 750ml bottle, the 12 Year certainly won’t break the bank but will offer a successful and smooth drink.

There’s also an uncanny bit of minty-citric-milky smoothness here, reminiscent of Baskin-Robbins’ “Daiquiri Ice” in a sugar cone. I hesitate to use the descriptor “salty” once more, but that’s what comes through most on both the nose and the palate.
