About this deal

I think this is the version I have, but I'm not sure, because the matrix numbers does not match those listed above (my C-side has 010417121-A-4 and JI etched in it, and D-side has 010417121-B-3), it was bought in Europe spring 2023 and has the "Made in Poland" stamp on the back. According to Williott, the eighth and final track " Bel Air" is a "melancholy waltz" that notably employs a "forest nymph chant" during its refrain.

The eight tracks appended on The Paradise Edition exemplify a "cinematic" musical style first introduced through Born to Die, and incorporates frequent electric guitar and piano instrumentation like the preceding record. Now this copy did have a lot more popping, but i think its because it had paper on it fro the sleeve. I don't see what the confusion is aside from the two releases sharing a barcode but there are two seperate listings on discogs. In Oceania, it reached number 17 on the Australian ARIA Charts, [35] and was acknowledged with a platinum certification in the country.I just received mine and it does not contain Born to Die, only Paradise and a slipcase for the original LP. Difference is the printed Universal Music Group logo on back cover and the different runout on side B like Born To Die.

Plus, which isn't really noted, the slipcase itself has a cardboard insert, which makes the overall package feel like a double album.Love this album and my pressing is decent, but the cardboard box set it came with was crappy and came unglued. The hype sticker attached to the front — 'Limited slipcase holds original "Born To Die" LP' — , does much to sow confusion, implying that this is in fact a double album. It was probably dirty out of the factory from those darn paper sleeves, which I immediately replaced with plastic ones after cleaning and you should too.

S. Billboard 200, and consequently assisted its parent record in rising from number 79 to number 37 with release-week sales of 16,000 copies. After The Paradise Edition was released, " Dark Paradise" was serviced as the sixth single from Born to Die on March 1, 2013, [24] [25] and reached the lower ends of select European singles charts. Having charted separately from Born to Die and Paradise throughout much of Europe, the record performed moderately on international record charts. Video Games suffers terribly, however, in two ways: There are some momentary and very noticable distortions with strong sibbilance a handful of times which has also been reported on other versions, so I'm quite certain this is a mastering problem. Type Lana Del Rey in the box under the ARTISTA column headingand Born To Die: The Paradise Edition in the box under the TÍTULO column heading. The Paradise Edition performed moderately on international record charts in Europe, where it charted separately from Born to Die and Paradise. Del Rey released her second studio album and major-label debut Born to Die in January 2012 by Interscope Records, Polydor Records, and Stranger Records.
