About this deal

The reason that this book only has four stars, is because there were parts where I was a little bit bored. We understand that not everyone can donate right now, but if you can afford to contribute, we promise it will be put to good use. The only true story in her "rep" is the time she and her friends TP'd MacKenzie's house as payback for all the pain and suffering she put her through. She meets them and, after another false rumor is debunked, invites them to join the science club, which they agree.

Seeing as it’s a cross between “Hogwarts and a five-star luxury hotel” that should be a good thing, right? I just found out yesterday that I’m going to be attending North Hampton Hills International Academy for one week as part of a student exchange program! The main reason for this is that the entire book felt rushed, and no wonder since the plot with NHH takes place in only one week.

Welcome to Nikki Maxwell's aDORKable world and the mega-selling Dork Diaries series – now with over 50 million copies in print worldwide! Spoiler Alert*** I was surprised when, near the end of the book, MacKenzie admitted in front of lots of people that she had secretly been doing things to make herself look bad on purpose, and it was not the people she blamed.

I just got to school a few minutes ago, and the eighth-grade students are already buzzing about Student Exchange Week.

I saw MacKenzie a few days ago at the CupCakery, and she was hanging out with some of her new friends. At first I thought that I've grown out of it, but the others were much better, so I'm really not sure what happened here. Nikki is dreading this day since she is meeting with Principal Winston and MacKenzie about the bug video that went around last month. Nikki Maxwell's school has a student exchange program where the students all attend different schools for a week. As part of her school's student exchange program, Nikki and her friends (Chloe, Zoey and Brandon) get separated as they all go to a different school than her. When Nikki gets her schedule, she gives "advice" on what the teachers in each of Nikki's classes are like, especially Mr. Secondly, selfie-addicted Queen Bee Tiffany seems set on turning Nikki into her “brainless zombie servant”. The setting adds to the conflict because Nikki gets sabotaged multiple times and this has a large impact on the benefits Nikki gets while she is an exchange student. Nikki worked with the science club members to help them get more members so that Tiffany doesn't shut down their club to replace it with another selfie club (the girl loves social media ¯\_(ツ)_/¯).

Nikki is so excited about the possibility of going to Paris, and things are starting to look up for her and her week at NHH. I know this is a series for middle schoolers, so the drama is a bit ridiculous, but the new characters in this book were hardly developed and were all extremely one dimensional despite their main roles.

She’s a self-proclaimed dork and chronic doodler with big dreams and an even bigger addiction to writing in her diary. Knowing the shocking truth that she'll be attending NHH alone, Nikki feels more willing to attend summer school.
