About this deal

Its iconic black-and-white logo is a staple of the homepage of many UK-based X users, and the account recently surpassed one million followers. The father-of-three from Wolverhampton has been breaking a niche in the internet for 20 years, and started Fesshole in 2019. The book is split into 10 sections, ranging from crime and neighbours, through to family, and of course sex. You may not want to discuss your sexual experiences at work out of concern for privacy (and for what is appropriate), however, this is very different from wanting to keep some specific experience a secret. Under the anonymity of the internet people confess their most embarrassing secrets and it might not be good for their souls, but it's great for the readers!

There are so many, and on such a wide range of topics, that it's almost a guarantee that there will be something in here that will make you laugh. Sometimes, the plausibility of these stories is challenged, but Rob explains that he is “asking people to submit the more extreme moments of their life”, so he “can’t knock out something that might only happen one in 10,000 times”. Rob Manuel’s tour show Fesshole Live visits Cambridge at the Arts Picturehouse on Wednesday 11 October at 8pm.There was only a few people using the internet at the time … your boss wasn’t reading it, your wife wasn’t reading it, your girlfriend wasn’t reading it. That might go some way to explaining the immense popularity of ‘Fesshole’, a Twitter account with close to a million followers where members of the public can anonymously share their confessions and embarrassing stories. For example, one participant told me he quite enjoys having the apartment to himself, and doesn’t mind when his partner is away for the weekend. A man who wades through 200 secret confessions every day and shares the best with his 650,000 followers has explained how - and why - Fesshole came to be a thing.

The book is a collection of confessions sent to Fesshole, a Twitter account run by Rob Manuel, where you can anonymously confess to anything you like, and people do. When I've had a few drinks on my own I watch Susan Boyle's BGT audition on YouTube and I always cry.So the fact that some of the most powerful people or institutions in many cultures encourage people to admit their transgressions is no coincidence. You might not talk about your paycheck out of concern for privacy, rather than wanting nobody to ever know what it looks like.

Fesshole Live is Rob’s current preoccupation – but afterwards, can we expect more projects from him? She couldn't imagine her life without going for a long walk in the forest or having oatmeal for lunch :).I'm only a quarter of the way through but can report that this is the funniest thing of its kind (the technical term is bathroom reading) since John Train's near-legendary "Remarkable Names of Real People. He said: ‘The point of it, is for people to tell amusing anecdotes, however it does often have people telling really heart rendering stuff and to remain anonymous.

D.,the host of the mental health advice podcast ‘Baggage Check’ and the bestselling author of ‘Detox Your Thoughts. In spite of this situation, we are going to look at inventive ways to look at serving our readership with digital content and of course in print too! Following the account's instant success, three years later, he's compiled his favourites into a new book - The Very Best of Fesshole: Britain Confesses Anonymously. She was studying Multimedia and Computer Science at Vilnius Tech university before deciding to take a break from studying to gain more work experience. The book puts them in categories, but there are such a variety that it might as well have just shown them randomly.Rob Manuel, 48, from north-east London, runs the Fesshole online account, which gives people the chance to tell their best anecdotes – but under complete anonymity.
