I like the fact that they had their time to shine and were able to find happiness out of a trip meant to entertain and teach the students. Oseman said changes were made for the adaptation to make the young adult graphic novel series more suitable for the medium of television. The graphic novel became the top-selling children's book in the UK following the popularity of the Netflix series. Charlie is a highly-strung, openly gay over-thinker, while Nick is a cheerful, soft-hearted rugby player.
