I really like the deco on this figure, but I haven't really warmed to the Laser Prime mold like I'd hoped I would. He's been done half a dozen times before, every previous design team on both sides of the Pacific understood his colors, how did the current design team have no idea what they were supposed to do with him?

I'm not dismissing anyone that it has happened to because it truly does suck, what I'm saying is that it may not actually be a prevalent within the larger collecting community (people outside the core collecting fandom) as the threads here would have one believe. This was and continues to be a pretty catastrophic flaw in the materials used on several years worth of releases. The gimmicks on the original were done well without compromising articulation much(aside from the wiring preventing the shoulders from raising over 90 degrees whereas the same issue is present on the new Velocitron Scourge if the shoulder pads aren’t angled/hinged out of the way; this is due to transformation). Meanwhile, Squirrelflight grew up safe and loved within the safety of ThunderClan's camp, and her bond with her only sister was one of the closest and most loving any cat could ever hope for.
