About this deal

It’s unfortunate that, since the entire helmet is black, you can’t easily see the shape and curvature of the helmet unless you’re up close, because there really is a lot of excellent detail here. Due to its black colour scheme, it does perhaps lose a little definition at times – but, like the other helmets in the collection, is still a classy collector’s item on display.

It also offers two ways to display the trooper: either with its head resting back, or pushed forward. Vader's 'neck' is actually a part of the helmet, the bottom of the mouth piece flares out and rests atop the shoulder armor, which isn't in the set. Take a trip to the dark side with this buildable LEGO Star Wars Dark Trooper Helmet (75343) model for adults. The lower half of this model proves that they could've looked incredible, but the top half looks terrible with all the exposed studs, just like Darth Vader and many of the helmets.A first-person shooter released on PC and PlayStation One, it told the story of a secret Galactic Empire project to create an army of powerful battle droids – the Dark Troopers. The trooper’s menacing red eyes (1×4 trans-red tiles) and striking angular facial details (achieved using a combination of 1×1 and 1×2 slopes) are built on a very involved inner core, which is surrounded by studs on every side. Being all-black makes it a little hard to distinguish the features, especially depending on how much light falls on the model, but this does have the advantage of making the red eyes pop, establishing them as the focal point of the entire set. Using the small screws to secure the panels is the ideal solution - makes the case secure unlike other cases which just clip together and can easily fall apart as soon as you pick them up. Gone are the humans inside suits of (very penetrable) armour, and in their place are highly-advanced droids built for nothing other than death and destruction – making for terrifying foes for Mando and his allies to overcome.

Build and display hero Luke Skywalker’s iconic pilot headgear, pay homage to the legendary bounty hunter, Din Djarin, from The Mandalorian or tap into your Imperial side with the Dark Trooper Helmet building set. The Luke Skywalker (Red Five) helmet will be instantly recognizable to any fan of the original Star Wars trilogy. The black plinth is neat and robust, and a printed plaque providing details of the model finishes it off nicely. The dark colour and relative absence of contrasting features might also reduce the appeal of this model, although that obviously matches the onscreen droid. This Lego Star Wars Dark Trooper Helmet certainly looks the part: its menacing red eyes and angular shape is every bit as terrifying as a Dark Trooper should be.The model recreates the contours of the helmet in LEGO style and uses a combination of translucent red LEGO elements and white bricks to recreate the Dark Trooper’s shining red eyes. Those who are enticed by the dark side can show their loyalty to the Imperial Remnant with the LEGO Star Wars Dark Trooper helmet.

The back neck piece is a really neat design, constructed upside down before being attached to the underside of the helmet.Three new additions to the Helmet Collection have been officially revealed, including 75343 Dark Trooper Helmet. The detailing across the underside is therefore paramount because that remains exposed from the rear.

The designer, Hans Burkhard Schlömer has therefore used white plates under trans-red tiles which does enhance their vibrancy. Enjoy mindful quality time recreating the distinctive contours of the helmet as seen in Star Wars: The Mandalorian Season 2. So many other helmets I'm waiting on: Snowtrooper, Kylo Ren, Clone variants, Lando Skiff Guard, Deathtroooer. but Darth Vader, TIE Pilot and Stormtrooper are full large heads and look the best of the whole line. The head looks squashed and the features just don’t look that accurate, but as we all know, sometimes box art can be deceiving – and this set turns out to be a prime example of that quirk.Evil red eyes, constructed using translucent red LEGO elements, and the slight forward tilt of the helmet on its brick-built stand deliver an authentic menacing look. But the sea of black pieces means it’s not the most exciting build, and it’s let down a bit by the use of stickers.
