In the 2018 film, Bert's apprentice Jack says that Bert had earned enough money to leave London and is now off travelling the world. She appears in the 1964 film played by Jane Darwell (in her final film appearance) and is the subject of the song " Feed the Birds" sung by Poppins.

Joining him are the English composers George Stiles and Anthony Drewe, who created new songs for the stage adaptation. Though her father’s actual position was somewhat unimpressive, Pamela’s mother, Margaret Morehead, came from a wealthy and influential Australian family (she was, in fact, the niece of the Premier of Queensland, so the Guardian wasn’t entirely off base).

During the period of World War II, Travers worked for the UK Ministry of Information and lived in Arizona. The cake was a little on the dry side, so I topped it with a chocolate cream cheese frosting which improved it immensely—and of course, I decorated it with silver stars, just as Mary Poppins would do! Next she unpacked a large cake of Sunlight Soap, a toothbrush, a packet of hairpins, a bottle of scent, a small folding armchair and a box of throat lozenges. He secretly yearns for his childhood, and finds any opportunity to join the Banks children's games such as kite flying and fireworks.
