This production was directed by James Lapine and featured Colin Donnell as Frank, Celia Keenan-Bolger as Mary, Lin-Manuel Miranda as Charley, Elizabeth Stanley as Gussie, and Betsy Wolfe as Beth.Straight away we find out that Emily’s dad has early dementia and she is his caregiver so this is definitely emotional. I guessed fairly early as to how the stories might intersect and it didn't remotely detract from my enjoyment and seeing if I was right, as I was enjoying all of the characters so much, I just was engrossed in their stories. Honestly, it brings such joy to the reader, with characters who become almost friends and a setting that really is the perfect place to spend Christmas. He never really redeems himself with a better attitude and the h was pretty much pathetic in her longing yearning for a teen age fantasy. This is a delightful holiday tale about Elise and Jay, a happily married couple that is madly in love.
