All Devices Offline – Heatmiser FAQ

Easy Setup and Pairing: Connect the neoHub Gen 2 to your home router using an Ethernet cable and a free port. The wiring centre would provide the outputs for the boiler, pump and valve as well as the individual zone output. Heatmiser neoHub has been designed to offer multi zone smart control for most heating systems, including radiators, electric and water underfloor heating. Whilst you won’t be able to use the app, you can make adjustments to your heating by operating the neoStat directly on the wall. In addition to the enhanced temperature history, the neoHub will display the hours run for each day for the same period. If you are installing radiators, you can wire directly from the thermostat to the valve – and use the end switch in the valve to operate the boiler. The Neo System uses mesh networking technology to provide reliable communication of the thermostat data whilst at the same time providing an extended communication range. The UH8 incorporates DIN rail mounting, so can easily be mounted adjacent to other electrical equipment.

In-Home and Remote Access: Once all your Neo devices are paired with the neoHub Gen 2, you gain convenient in-home and remote access to control your heating, hot water, and appliances. Up to 6 actuators can be wired to each of the 8 zones and an output is provided for the boiler, underfloor heating pump and valve. Replacing an existing traditional three wire thermostat, the Heastmiser neoStat is designed to work as a thermostat or a timer. Neo offers 4 or 6 level programming per day – this is the number of different temperature settings you can program. If you are not sure on how to do this, you may need to speak to your broadband provider or have a look at forums online.

The neoStat was designed as a standalone room thermostat that can be paired to the neoHub for remote app control if desired by the end user.

That's why we offer a comprehensive warranty on all of our underfloor heating products, with a lifetime warranty for our signature kits. Each neoStat thermostat acts as a repeater on the network, helping to eliminate range issues which are common on standard RF systems. For example it makes sense to control the floor temperature in a kitchen or shower room, so that the floor tiles are warm to walk on.

Cloud Server Connection: The neoHub Gen 2 effortlessly connects to the Heatmiser Cloud Servers, eliminating the need for complex technical setup.

Remember if the neoHub is behind your router, the signal will try and get through to the router which could cause problems. The neoAir also communicates directly via RF to the receiver and so in both systems the neoHub is not required for the heating to operate. The neoHub Mini OT Kit is designed for those with 1 or 2 heating zones being controlled with an on/off or Opentherm compatible boiler. Ensure that all users use a unique login and don’t enable Geo on devices you will leave in the home. No special computer knowledge is required, simply plug into your router, create a FREE account via the Neo app and then take control of your heating, hot water and appliances from anywhere. Heatmiser neoHub G2 is the gateway to the Neo System, providing remote control of all neoStat's and neoPlug's from your iOS or Android device.
