Working primarily with watercolors, she has illustrated several children's books, such as Giants in the Clouds by Maria Muscarella, and is currently writing an illustrated Victorian-style advice manual of fairytale etiquette. There is an exquisite attention to color in Candle Magic (9); There is a wealth of information on the magical properties of Crystals and Herbs (12). Her other works include: Witchery, Plant Witchery and her most recent and what she considers her most important work The Altar Within, which I am desperately interested in reading.This deck first pulled me in by it’s witchy aesthetic that is a little Charles Addams, a little Edward Gorey, and a whole lot of visual intuition and expressive magic. Any experienced witch who favors this season will no doubt enjoy the chance to immerse themselves in these archetypes. Our ancestors have known this for centuries, taking advantage of the night's potent energy to gain clear insight into the past, the present and the future.

The back of each card is a yellow/gold colour and, rather than the hands that the other card backs featured, here there are bees. Also known as May Day, Beltane honors life and is a celebration of passion and putting your plans into action. It is a wonderful remember of how much poetry can help to anchor an idea while giving it room to grow.Original poetry from Juliet Diaz works as invocations for magic and ritual while intuitive guidance from Lorraine Anderson will take you through your personal readings. Also known as May Day, Beltane honours life and is a celebration of passion and putting your plans into action. The themes and ideas in each deck are perfectly in-tune with the seasons and time of year they represent. For now there was something that i’m looking at starting that came to mind straight away so I feel like this was the best spread to do. The wonderful witch Ozalee, has stepped into the magickal realm of Samhain with the Seasons of the Witch: Samhain oracle.

You might feel more of a connection with other Sabbats so Samhain or Yule may be a good place to start with this series.She is an Indigenous Taino Cubano and created the Love Juliet and Co brand and online membership community. For example the other spreads include: maypole, flower crown, self-worship, goddess and a creation spread. It immediately drew me in and encapsulated all my favourite things about the Autumn and Winter months.
