What a great pressing, the bass is massive and tight, i get goosebumps listening to it, i have 2016 Reissue and it is wonderful as well, but this has little more oomph, separation is better. My copy looks like a mini-LP replica, unsealed, no writing on the outer sleeve, spine, or inside at all other than the album artwork. I have 2 copies of this release, and on both copies I noticed on side 3 of the record that if you let your needle go all the way until the end, it will always skip back a few inches/centimeters to "Comfortably Numb" .

A routinely great artist, much of Sufjan's universal appeal comes from his skills as a gifted narrator, pairing personal musings on love and devotion with commentary on American culture, whilst welding folk and electronica, the ambient and existential. Unlike Japanese pressing , i found this Germany pressing have a slight edge on its lows and punchy without compromising its highs . adapted for cinema by alan parker featuring bob geldof in the lead role, and featuring the unique artwork of gerald scarfe the album also yielded the hit single 'another brick in the wall part 2'. Why do people feel the need to constantly mess about with Pink Floyd releases,at the end of the day it’s the difference between a few numbers in a run off matrix?

Pink Floyd's single Another Brick In The Wall, Part 2 (B-side: One Of My Turns) was released in the UK. Two months of work began on The Wall at CBS Studios, New York with The New York Philharmonic Orchestra and conductor/arranger Michael Kamen. As other people have already said, there are some crackles, but, on my copy at least, they are minimal and in no way ruined the experience for me.Now with a massively successful US tour opening for sweet soul darlings Thee Sacred Souls behind him, 2023 is sure to be a propitious year for Daptone's newest signee.

The character he creates ("Pink") is a character (and at times caricature) and while you get a deep sense that The Wall is semi-autobiographical, it feels largely like a crafted rock opera instead of a vehicle for a rich rock star to pout.
