I think modern readers without a taste for the older stuff would like this better than the original material. It sucks because Gwen is getting really interesting but they just hit pause on her character and it irritated me so much. Marvel Omnibus is a line of large format, high quality, full color, hardcover graphic novel omnibuses published by Marvel Comics. Bendis is writing the film version of Jinx for Universal Pictures with Oscar-winner Charlize Theron attached to star and produce. Looking at my collection, I have more books on Venom, Carnage, Spider-Man (Octavius), heck, I even have 1 Spider-Man (Ben Reilly)(though unfortunately, I have yet to encounter a good collection of Spider-Man 2099).

There is only one comic I've read recently with worse artwork and that was Rick Remenders uncanny avengers!But the neophyte Spider-Man is making enemies left and right – including the Green Goblin, the Kingpin, Doctor Octopus, Kraven the Hunter and the maniacal Venom – and unless he can rise to the occasion, Spidey may not survive until prom! As a mediocre fan of graphic novels and a 80’s child it was cool to read through this reboot Omni-bus. The story of a counterfeit Spider-Man would be interesting on its own, even if it feels like a big of a backslide from the triumph of the previous volume. Which, speaking of Kraven, he got the most build up out of any villain in the entire comic but he’s just a pushover show host? Und überhaupt ist seine Seiteneinteilung überzeugend und hat einen eigenen Erzählrhythmus, mal langsam, wenn es um wichtige Dialoge geht, dann wieder schnell und ineinandergreifend, wenn hurtige Action ansteht.It's a f****** great comic and has received a lot of acclaim, but why has the most omnibus come out before the OHCs? Only difference is this time around instead of all that taking place in one issue it’s all spread out into a 7 issue intro arc. GoTG is very uneven, there are some good issues and some terrible one where the guest artist is really really bad. Entsprechend stellte sich mir als erstes die Frage, ob ich den Ultimate Spider-Man wirklich lesen wolle.

Mark Bagley does a decent job with the artwork, but not enough for me to strongly recommend this title to anyone who isn't a Spiderman fan. Sixth, the Marvel heavyweights who crop up - Fury, mutants, Fantastic Four, Ultimates - do so pretty much always in service of Spiderman's storyline, and while it feels like a definite power up when they share the action, they work alongside him to varying extents in a way that never feels crowbarred in.

First, Parker's enemies are pretty much all products of his own life (with the exception of Vibro, who hilarious pops up every so often only to be slapped down effortlessly). Terry Moore is getting his Serial series collected in one Omnibus volume, both in paperback and hardback, for March 2022. It’s all just a fresh take on the character that is so consistent that in my opinion it is the best overall Spider-Man series. But nothing can prepare him for the moment that the Green Goblin, Doctor Octopus, Electro, Kraven the Hunter and Sandman unite.
