Two Gobbleygourd eggs were accidentally included as part of Barrb's Vessel requirements during the release of Wave 4, though it was patched a few hours later. Instead, it was two Gob eggs that were meant to be part of Barrb's requirements. This makes sense, as they both start with "GOB". Gobbleygourd says "Gobbley Gobbley Gah, a Gobbley Gobbley Goo! "Gobbley Gobbley Gah, a Gobbley Gobbley Goo!" on Fire Oasis.

Once your Gobble Monster is nice and full it’s time to finish him off by sewing his mouth closed. You don’t want him to regurgitate his dinner now do we? Gobbleygourd, like all Seasonals are only available during their own season, a weekend Out-of-Season event (6 months apart) and the Anniversary Month Celebration. It is also available to breed at any time on Seasonal Shanty. Any Gobbleygourd eggs that were zapped into Barrb's vessel were completely deleted instead of being replaced or turned into Coins. Gobbleygourd can either be teleported to Seasonal Shanty once fed to level 15, or bred with Punkleton and Yool. Gobbleygourd has a low coin production compared to other Monsters on Seasonal Shanty.

You don’t even need to use new felt to make this softie, any textile that doesn’t fray too much will work great. Old felted jumpers make great fabric for softie making. Its body is completely fireproof and it is nearly invincible, as shown when surviving being launched by Wubbox at supersonic speeds through the atmosphere without catching on fire or being harmed, and also seemingly enjoying it in the Daydream Believer trailer. Note that breeding Seasonal Monsters is not 100% guaranteed to get you the Monster. You might have to try multiple times.

The following Monster(s) will increase their happiness by 25% when being placed near Gobbleygourd or when Gobbleygourd and a Unity Tree are on the Island. These may or may not also be Gobbleygourd's likes as well: I’ve named him the Zero-Waste Gobble Monster because you’ll literally have no waste left over after you finish him – he’ll even gobble up the scraps left over from his own production.

In the trailer for Cherubble, Gobbleygourd uses the same flying animation that it does of Seasonal Shanty. The Gobbleygourd Monster can only be bred for a limited time during the Feast-Ember season on Fire Haven and Fire Oasis, or anytime on Seasonal Shanty.
