About this deal

Items that are not available in store will take 3-5 working days to be delivered to your nominated store. The Nerd: You know, this game is just way too generous with the extra lives. IT'S LIKE DELIBERATELY KEEPING ME IN THE GAME, SO I CAN'T STOP! The Nerd: After each stage, you get a bonus game, depending on how many carrots you collected. By winning, you can earn some 1-ups. Now, this number thing, I really don't know how to play it, and I don't give a shit, so I just tap the buttons until it's over. Are you ready for a yummy-licious birthday party? In the Maryoku Yummy: Birthday Blow-Out game, you get to join Fij Fij and his friends for a super fun birthday adventure. This is a game filled with bright candles, tasty cake, and lots of birthday wishes! But, I disagree wholeheartedly with the AVGN's review on Youtube of this game. At the end of the day, it is just a bit of harmless fun for youngsters, even though the Looney Tunes show appeals to everyone.

Firstly, you need to put 3 x AA batteries inside the ‘cake’ as these do not come included. You’ll need a screwdriver for this. Covers Always Lie: Porky Pig pops up on the games cover, even though he's not present at all in-game, not even as a cameo. This was presumably a holdover from the fact that Porky was planned to be in the game at one point, but was cut. Help Bugs Bunny get to his 50th birthday party in this fun side-scrolling platform adventure game! Use Bugs Bunny’s mallet to defeat various enemies in Bugs Bunny Birthday Blowout! Collect hearts and keep Bugs Bunny’s HP high as he tries to collect as many carrots as possible along the way. The way the ‘flames’ of the candles light up via the base is clever, as is the way that you blow out the candles. It’s a lot of fun for children who seem almost weirdly obsessed with birthday cakes. The Nerd: (sarcastically) Wow, how awesome could this be? Bugs Bunny's Birthday Blowout. Well, it was a blowout, alright. BLOW OUT YOUR ASS!The plot is simple; it's Bugs Bunny's 50th birthday, and he's been invited to a party by his fanclub as a guest of honor. Unfortunately, the other Looney Tunes ensemble get word of Bugs' party and decide to go out of their way to keep Bugs from going to it purely out of jealousy. Bugs is this forced to endure several levels of platforming hazards, enemies and then fight each of the Looney Tunes to make it to his party. The aim of the game is to blow out the candles before the time runs out and the music stops. If you blow them all out then you move on to the next level which is even faster!

The mallet is a nice weapon, but their were times during the game when I wished Bugs also had the ability to collect items to use as projectiles. Every time you start the game you forced to watch the entire introduction sequence. It is a nice sequence, but having to watch it every time you start the game, can be tedious. Excuse Plot: Bugs Bunny is going off to celebrate his 50th birthday, and the other Looney Tunes are (seemingly) jealous and go out of their way to sabotage it. The idea is simple and even a small child could ‘get it’ although they probably couldn’t physically summon the puff power to rotate the candle flames and would need a little help. It’s perfectly pitched at four year olds upwards, and I’m sure that they will enjoy playing with it. Net Gun: Elmer Fudd uses one in the battles against him. Should it catch Bugs, Elmer will immediately beeline over to inflict Collision Damage. While the net will eventually go away on its own, the player can wiggle Bugs free to release him sooner. The game is a typical side-scrolling platformer in the vein of Super Mario Bros., made as part of Bugs Bunny's 50th anniversary celebration at the time. The Nerd: Yeah, this game's really a no-brainer. (takes a swig of Yuengling, then Bugs Bunny shows up at the door and he promptly spits out his Yuengling) OH MY GOD!!! IT'S BUGS BUNNY!!! The Nerd: You want some shit? (pulls pants down) BOMBS AWAY, BUGS BITCH! (diarrhea falls out through a fake ass) Kaizo Trap: There is one part where you can get killed by a football thrown by Taz after you defeat him if Taz throws one before he is defeated. Circling Birdies: When Bugs gets hit, stars spin around his head for a few seconds, rendering him unable to use his hammer. The Bugs Bunny Birthday Blowout is the second 8-bit outing for Bugs and, compared to Crazy Castle, this title features superior graphics, music and sound effects. It is not the most original or difficult platformer for the Nintendo, but it is one of the most enjoyable.

Once the batteries are in, place the five plastic candles inside the holes in the top of the cake. Press the ‘on’ button. Feathered Fiend: Tweety is the boss of Stages 1-2, 2-2, and 4-2, and Foghorn Leghorn is the boss of Stage 5-4.Porky not included. The Bugs Bunny Birthday Blowout ( Happy Birthday Bugs in Japan and The Bugs Bunny Blowout in Europe) is a 1990 video game for the NES, developed by Kemco and starring, naturally, Bugs Bunny.

Items that are not available in store will take 3-5 working days (excluding weekends and bank holidays) to be delivered to your nominated store.

Fine Motor skills

The Bugs Bunny Birthday Blowout' is definitely a disappointment for me considering it is a licensed game. It settles for mediocrity, maybe with the excuse of targeting a younger age group. However, for an NES game, it is not without its redeeming qualities, however few they may be. The Bugs Bunny Birthday Blowout, known in Japan and on the title screen as Happy Birthday Bugs ( ハッピーバースディ・バッグス) and in Europe as The Bugs Bunny Blowout, is a platform video game developed and published by Kemco for the Nintendo Entertainment System in 1990. The Nerd: I'D RATHER PUT MY BALLS IN A CROCODILE'S MOUTH, WHILE SHOVING MY HEAD UP A UNICORN'S ASSHOLE!!! My four year old could do it but my two year old couldn’t, so bear this in mind if your child has younger siblings that may want in on the game; it is aimed at 4+ and this is probably the minimum lung-capacity wise! Mercy Invincibility: You have this, but as long as it's active Bugs can't use his hammer to defend himself.
