About this deal

It is not clear if this makes a difference in dissipating the heat, but it is worth mentioning anyway so that users know how to tell the difference. You will find more specific information about each of the Storz and Bickel devices in the individual reviews.

If there’s any manufacturer I would blindly trust the most in terms of safety, it would have to be Storz and Bickel. Unless you really mess up the grind of your herb or the packing of your bowl, it’s extremely easy with the CRAFTY+ to produce the same hard-hitting clouds each and every time. The Crafty+ vaporizer has a default temperature setting of 356 F, but it has a Boost Mode feature that consists of Boost and Super-Boost. With all conduction vaporizers that I tested, the flavor deteriorates after the first couple of hits.

A cotton swab dipped in iso is good enough to make quick work of any build-up and grime on the bowl and a quick brush cleans the screen easily enough, but the entire cooling unit is best to be soaked in a glass of iso. The Crafty+ is entirely matte black and is roughly the same shape and size of a typical e-cig, which makes for a pretty solid stealthy option. The Crafty+ does offer pass-through charging, which means you can begin using the unit while it’s plugged in, but the Crafty+ needs about 20% to start heating the chamber. But the plastic used for the CRAFTY doesn’t feel like your average plastic, it’s a very high-quality plastic advertised as food-safe and heat-resistant.

Loading the chamber with a good pile of a medium-fine ground herb or one of the Crafty capsules is a breeze and then you’ll just want to wait for it to heat up before taking a draw. Finally, and most importantly, these vaporizers are easy to use and compare well with their competitors and the older model. Make sure to dump out the oven after each session, and use a brush to clean off the screen and inside of the oven. The Crafty+ vaporizer has a powerful 2,800 mah hour battery that lasts an hour and a half and is suitable for seven bowls.Realize that all of these effects are at least, if not more so dependent on the particular strain you’re vaping with. With the CRAFTY+, you don’t have to worry about any vapor or air reacting with the chemicals present in the electronics. When you want to smooth out the vapor even further, you should get a bubbler to attach your CRAFTY+ to. What we know about the plastic used in the CRAFTY+ Vaporizer is that it’s food-safe and heat-resistant. It’s easy to use, easy to clean, and I can always rely on it to get me medicated (provided it’s charged).

You can’t get in a few quick hits and put it away like you could with the Firefly 2 (the FF2 sucks for sessions though). As I mentioned earlier, the Mighty plus usually gives me eight full sessions before the battery dies, which is outstanding for a portable vaporizer. You can even be pretty negligent with grind and pack technique and completely neglect any complex draw technique – you’ll still get solid performance without worry. Still made in their state of the art facility in Germany, the Crafty+ retains the medical certifications that its brothers have and hasn’t changed much. While the vapor is running through that path, it cools down so that it does not burn the user’s mouth.Mighty+ Vaporizer– The Mighty uses an LED (1” x 1”) display that shows the default temp, actual temp, and battery life. The default temperature setting is good for easy hits without too much conduction, which is very forgiving, so the Crafty+ is easy to pass around and share. And since it doesn’t look like a standard e-cigarette, anyone slightly knowledgeable in this area will know what the CRAFTY+ is. Whichever way you grind, however you fill the bowl or whatever way you draw, the CRAFTY will always bless you with impressive clouds of vapor packed with flavor. Storz and Bickel, the manufacturer of the CRAFTY+ Vaporizer, does have a stellar reputation in vaporizer-land. They are the same, except for the cooling unit that attaches to the top of the Mighty is a bit bigger than the Crafty, so it claims to cool the vapor slightly more before it touches your lips. The new battery life is a huge step up from the previous Crafty lineup which struggled to put out 4-5 sessions per cycle. They’ve traveled everywhere with me, been on countless biking and skiing trips, and probably pushed pounds through both units.

Conduction heating does take away from the session-efficiency of a vaporizer when you compare it to convection. What this means is that it’s just better for efficiency and flavor preservation, to finish up your bowl once you’ve started your session (don’t break your session halfway with still uncooked herb in your bowl). F(200°C) and up: Best if you don’t have anything else to do that day, very strong level of medication, heavy bodily effects. The Volcano Hybrid, the newest digital version of the Volcano Classic, and a few different variations of the Volcano Classic. Most portable vaporizers require some technique for best use, but the Crafty/Mighty works all the time and for any user, novice through advanced.
