The editing and graphics make me think these are from the first dvd release, which was when dvds and special features were a new medium. But, if you have a wicked sense of humor, Christian Bale's breakout performance is reason enough to add this film to your collection. I can't remember, but I believe Zavvi referred to the Wonder Woman o-ring slip as a slipcase before anyone got their hands on it. Set aside improvements in detail, colors, black levels, whites, contrast - the first thing you're going to see and appreciate is the simple fact that the numerous and constant instances of speckling and staining and the outright noisy grainfield have been taken care of. transfer with Dolby Vision and HDR10, as the results are a spectacular improvement over the previous Blu-ray.
It was a big movie of the winter season courting any amount of controversy a movie based on a Bret Easton Ellis novel could for its extreme amount of violent content and treatment of women. The back cover features the back of Patrick's head, behind which he has thoughtfully hidden a hatchet. The item you receive may vary from the image in minor ways, such as slight differences in appearance, color, and/or design. I always use an after shave lotion with little or no alcohol, because alcohol dries your face out and makes you look older. just a little blood letting, this isn't a "splashy" looking steelbook cover, though it's rather inventively designed.
There's six scenes in total and are definiteley worth watching, even though the sound mixing hasn't been done on them. The high dynamic range is subtly applied, enriching the film’s frequent use of natural lighting, which imparts an added sense of depth. Just in case you didn't pick this disc up already - or if you're a crazed SteelBook collector, Lionsgate is giving you a pretty slick reason to add American Psycho - 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray to your collection! Taken as a whole it's probably not the best or most aggressive Atmos mix ever released, but it works beautifully for this film offering up plenty of sonic treats.
