About this deal

In short, the cases are unique in that they use a channel system of soft foam that compresses (nicely) when the lid is closed. The gaps are cut into flexible zig-zag shapes so that they can bend around any weapons or stray limbs whilst holding them in place, and avoiding any breakages. While smaller than the Crusade case, the battle case's smaller cousin, the skirmish case, stacks neatly on top of it. Practical, sturdy, and with a unique foam system, for the most part can transport most, or even your entire army.

Much like the other Citadel cases, the Battle Figure Case is a well-made case that’s suited for any 40K player. This compressor technology for lack of a better description allows you to jam much more into the case than other options out there. You’d have to be infantry heavy for sure, which is pretty typical in 8th anyway, but it would be a tight fit – as you said. The Citadel cases are fantastic for what they do, transport and protect your miniatures as they go from point A to B. I’m fairly sure I could fit a dreadnaught, and a whole bunch of infantry into those two extra stacks. Containing one set of our revolutionary channel foam, the Citadel Battle Figure Case has been specially designed to fit almost any model that we make, any shape and size, quickly and easily without the chore of cutting and shaping to fit. Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary. The Crusade case (the big one listed above) has the zig zag foam in 4 giant stacks that will fit a pretty large collection of miniatures. The gaps in the foam are just wide enough to allow for miniatures to slot in carefully, and the bases of the models sit flush on top of the tray without sticking out too much. The foam-case system works, and the curious part of me is intrigued by the physics of how the foam compresses around miniatures. If the glue does not hold properly, or is weakened by repeated use, then the foam channels would eventually collapse. At a guess, I would say that the Citadel Battle Figure case could hold around 1000-1500 points of any sized miniatures up to 50mm.

The main attraction of 40k is the miniatures, but there are also many video games, board games, books, ect. The Crusade Case is made of a soft, pliable but seemingly durable plastic, that closely snugly with the foam inside. To keep things simple, I review using details of largest of the Citadel army transport case systems, the Crusade Case. If you’re looking for a do-it-all army transport case that doesn’t require you to fiddle with foam bits and plucking open spaces for all your stuff, the Crusade Case (or its smaller siblings) may be what you’re looking for!I know people who use this Citadel case regularly for pewter metal models, including the bigger warjacks from Privateer Press. While I’m very happy with my purchase of the Crusade case (it appears to be a good value), I own a glue gun and a roll of duct tape. Citadel Battle Figure Case – GW-60-38 The Citadel Figure Cases are the perfect way to transport and protect your Citadel miniatures.

I have one case of this but right now I think i can finde better case solutions for less money considering what I have to carry around.Does the usefulness and convenience of the Citadel Army Transport case justify its cost compared to other options on the market?
