The 3-point harness buckles securely for safety and has padded chest straps which match perfectly with the seat cover. The seat seems really comfy and baby was very almost nodding off, so although I didn't think we would use the recline feature at her age, I think we will and it means I can use it for school runs or quick trips to town without worrying about her being asleep at the wheel! Stage two (15m+): Baby can sit with removed backrest and bumper while parents can push and control the trike. He looked really comfortable in the seat unit and even though he is quite big and has a big winter coat on he had lots of room left in the seat. The canopy is adjustable and would be good to protect J from light rain as well as providing some shade from the sun.

I think once he learns how to peddle it will work even though he can just barely reach with his feet. Products that contain small parts may pose a choking hazard and should not be used by children under 3. You can use this pretty freely with the ability to recline a sleeping baby and carry a few essentials too.
