The tray is easy to fit and comes with a base link (which allows you to hang another feeder below) and it doesn't need to be removed when you are cleaning the feeder. The base can be easily twisted off to ensure no detritus is left in the feeder and simply pull out the “ring” headed pin to release the ports and allow you to do a thorough clean of the feeder.
