Las historias están bien pero no era lo que esperaba en un "Patterns in time" con la portada con Korra y Asami. The newest entry into the Legend of Korra comics library delivers bite-sized stories that further explore a great mix of characters from the animated series in a mostly light-hearted manner. With eight stories total and a pretty varied group of creators behind them, including Avatar: The Last Airbender creator Michael Dante DiMartino , this anthology had a little bit of everything that I might have been looking for in new Legend of Korra stories.

My favorites were definitely Naga and Korra's first meeting (though I had read this before), Korra and Asami being big sisters to Jinora and, wildly enough, the Bumi and Meelo team-up. I loved how distinct each art style was, with some having more of a sketchy look and feel while others felt extremely reminiscent of the aesthetic from the show.It had some that were previously published as Free Comic Book Day specials ( FCBD 2021: AVATAR: THE LAST AIRBENDER / THE LEGEND OF KORRA aka Clearing the Air, The Legend of Korra: Lost Pets, and The Legend of Korra: Friends for Life / How to Train Your Dragon / Plants Vs. In "Clearing the Air", Appa's ears are white, correcting a goof from the comic's original release, where his ears are depicted as brown. Goodness it was just a wholesome experience to be able to read more background regarding all of the characters. I didn't realise this was a collection of a few stories, like The Lost Adventures and Team Avatar Tales. I genuinely laughed at a few moments, which is always a good sign for stories set in the Avatar: The Last Airbender universe.
