About this deal

Thank you Netgalley for allowing me to read this book. This is possibly one of the most powerful books I have ever read. Diane's strength and desire to help others is breathtaking and she and the other women who had the misfortune to meet Philippe. Whether we are eight years old, forty-eight, or eighty-eight, in the core of our hearts, we don’t want failure to characterize the end of our stories. We don’t want to be known for our worst mistakes and defeats, but for our greatest victories and triumphs.

In a 2015 study published in the Journal of the American Medical Association, two researchers broke down how new infections are transmitted: However, Charles refused to let the Great Depression or the difficulties of his life define him. Instead, like his father and grandfather before him, he clung to God’s Word and took up the mantle to preach the gospel to whoever would listen. One attendee said, “It was lovely to hear from and see some of the people we have prayed for previously. Their stand for the Lord and work in His strength was inspiring and challenging.” When suffering and disappointments come our way, if our lives are built on the right foundation, we can stand no matter what happens. If they’re not, we won’t. Oh, we may look sturdy while the sun is shining and everything is going our way, but when the winds and rains start pounding down, who we really are is evident. And sometimes, that’s not a very good picture.

Taher and family, Middle East: “We have not paid any price [for our faith] yet”

Dr. Stanley’s motivation is best represented by the truth found in Acts 20:24, “Life is worth nothing unless I use it for doing the work assigned me by the Lord Jesus—the work of telling others the Good News about God's mighty kindness and love.” This is because, as he says, “It is the Word of God and the work of God that changes people’s lives.” So what goes into the construction of a strong life? It’s not just having a healthy body—that’s useful, but there is much more to it than that. Likewise, it is more than having a good job, plenty of money, or prestigious social standing in your community. How can you experience a strong, fruitful life? What does it take? It could even be that you want to be prepared for the great plans God has for you. You’ve seen the difficulties and challenges great leaders face and want to make sure you have what it takes to endure and become all you were created to be. You desire to walk with a sense of purpose. You long to understand what speeds you along God’s path and what hinders you from moving forward. You yearn to have the courage and confidence to endure when obstacles and people arise to challenge you. So break out of your fiction rut , take off your blinders and dive into this book by a "badass bitch with an indomitable spirit". Diane Reeve with the help of Jenna Glatzer is going to help us discover the "New Face of HIV". This is why, in this book, we will take a long look into our convictions—the beliefs that influence our lives and shape our decisions. Our convictions define who we are and what we become—whether we become strong or weak, whether we build on or undermine the foundation of Christ. We live out our convictions every day in innumerable ways. So in Part 1 of this book, we will examine what our lives are built on: our most foundational views about the Trinity—God the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—as well as what we really believe about Scripture and prayer.

Reeve is a Hall-of-Fame martial artist, teacher, and studio owner. It’s clear from her story that she’s, as she says, “a badass bitch.” Instead of turning inwards at her moment of greatest life crisis, she started looking for her sister victims. And then together they turned the tables on the man who transmitted the disease and pursued him in the justice system. They helped gather evidence. They found more sisters for the “club no one wants to join,” and those new members were added to the strength of the criminal case. They cried, hugged, drank margaritas, and ultimately won their case. Boy, her story was just mind blowing, it's so real and really heartbreaking. We can all feel the emotions that spin through her head. When she sees a red flag it's so easy to explain these little quirks away She's in love with the man, he's like her Knight in a shiny armor. He's everything she's wants and needs. So she puts her blinders on and knows that she can love him through whatever made her suspicious. Today, as a mum of two young boys, I see Standing Strong through my ‘Mumma Bear’ eyes. I understand the importance of having a place like Standing Strong for our children. My goal is to continue building Standing Strong as a support network and community of strength for families to lean on, throughout the life changing journey of raising children.During its debut week, "Stand Strong" peaked at number two on Apple Music in Nigeria. On 22 May 2022, it debuted at number 9 on the UK Afrobeats Singles chart. On 23 May 2022, it debuted at number 6 on the Nigeria TurnTable Top 50 chart. [7] On 25 May 2022, it debuted at number 9 on the Billboard U.S. Afrobeats Songs chart, and TurnTable Top 50 Streaming Songs chart, [8] it also debuted at number 2 on the TurnTable Top 50 Airplay. [9] "Stand Strong" has received 4.7 million Boomplay streams as of 27 May 2022. [10] Charts [ edit ] Chart (2022) I believe that "This is not how the story is going to end.". I expect there will be more triumph from Ms. Reeve to come. I think all of us would agree that’s the kind of existence we wish to have—one that has a lasting influence on this world and beyond. We want to know that the days we live are actually making a difference and that there is a reason for what we do and for the difficulties we experience. We want to be sure that what we are standing for is worthwhile. If any man builds on the foundation with gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, straw, each man’s work will become evident; for the day will show it because it is to be revealed with fire, and the fire itself will test the quality of each man’s work. If any man’s work which he has built on it remains, he will receive a reward. If any man’s work is burned up, he will suffer loss; but he himself will be saved, yet so as through fire. (1 Cor. 3:12–15) Again, we can look to Saul to illustrate this point. The name Saul means “desired or asked for.” And certainly, that’s what he was. People wanted to know him and sought his counsel and favor. In Philippians 3, Paul describes his résumé as a Pharisee—one that would impress anyone in that day:
