About this deal

Although I am looking for a more grayisch/taupe one because that might suit my very pale skintone better when conturing. It's a shame this bronzer only comes in two, quite dark shades, as it would be great if they also catered for paler complexions who are after a more subtle glow. However, I find these sparkly particles don't transfer onto the skin which suits me better if I'm honest. Not only have I been using it on my face for a sun kissed shimmer and sheen, I have been using a big fluffy brush to add it to my décolletage, arms and legs for that Victoria’s Secret glow. It has a delicious, rather heavenly chocolate scent, is even shaped like a chocolate bar, and one can barely resist to break a chunk off to eat.

Instead of contouring, I use this bronzer to bring back some colours onto my skin if I apply lighter shade of foundation. I bought the original a couple of years ago for my daughter to use and somehow it ended up in my makeup collection!

Honey bronzer used to be readily available in my country, but I guess they decided to discontinue it because people here in general does not use bronzer! Due to this, the product can be used as a bronzer to warm up the skin and also as a contour product for sculpting the face as it pretty much has a matte finish to it.

I get the most wear out of this bronzer 3 to 5 days after I have applied my fake tan as that is when I'm lightly bronzed due to the colour of the tan fading. If you are new at bronzing, just a beginner, the Bourjois Paris Delice de Poudre Bronzing Powder will be a perfect aid, as it gives you the control to build the colour up, and has a very natural touch. The ultra fine and soft texture of Bourjois Delice de Poudre Bronzing Powder makes it easy to apply to your face and decolletage. I also like to use the bronzing powder with my MAC 224 brush to sweep in the socket line of my eye for depth and definition. I've been looking for it for a while but I cannot find it :) My fav bronzer right now is actually a blush from Essence, 40 Natural Beauty, it's shimmery though! I missed the hype big time on this though, because at the same time of its release, I had purchased Benefit's Hoola Bronzer and that was me sorted on the bronzer front! Firstly, other than it looking like a bar of chocolate, I didn't pick up on the scent of chocolate that a lot of people seem to love this product for.
