About this deal

I have lots to say about it, and I hope it will not only help other LGBTQ+ people but also open the hearts, minds, and eyes of my straight fans.

This hilarious, impossible-to-put-down memoir takes readers on a roller-coaster ride through Bretman's first two decades. Almost every fiber in my being is infused with the femininity of my sister, mother, grandmothers, and aunties. While the social media personality acknowledges that perception varies for everybody, he remains hopeful that his story somehow leaves the readers with one common experience. With his signature honesty, this is an unfiltered and unprecedented look at what it means to be one of the first digital celebrities and that bitch--from dealing with cancel culture, drama and heartbreak, to what it means to love yourself and your community. Throughout the memoir, Rock uses both “he/him/his” and “she/her/hers” pronouns and clarifies his lack of preference.I have yet to read it fully but, I can't wait to read it with Bretman as the narrator so I can hear it in its full glory. Biography: Bretman Rock is a digital entertainer, known for his unique sense of comedy, genderbending fashion and helping to pioneer the new standard of genderless beauty. I think many authors like to "play God" with their books and make sure their perspective of life is the ONLY way to live and paint themselves as the best and most special human on Earth. There are so many other topics I want to get into that come up in this, but I want to leave the rest of the book for readers to interpret and enjoy for themselves!

Back to myself: I went from living in a house with twenty-five people to owning my own home on the island of Oahu. I’m very proud of being LGBTQ+ and Filipino, so it’s an honor to be a pretty face for both underrepresented communities. Might be a bit biased because I’m a huge Bretman fan — but this book was relatable, funny, and surprisingly eye-opening to a lot of Bretman’s experiences that he’s never talked about to the public before.Being a Filipino-American myself, I genuinely felt like I was reading a life memoir from a best friend, and it was inspiring to see someone from my culture achieve such monumental and groundbreaking moments at such a young age. The tone is so well established through the dialogue utilised throughout each of his stories, and his voice radiates pure confidence.
