My Mum Tracy Beaker: Now a major TV series

As a childhood lover of the original Tracy Beaker books, like many others in this camp I was excited to read this new updated as to how Tracy's life would progress beyond the Dumping Ground. We see this as Jess names her imaginary dog "Snapchat" and the difference in the playground talk she experiences at school. I agree with you too about how I would've loved to have seen some of the characters from the series, but of course with it being adapted from the book this was not really possible to fit in. Jacqueline Wilson was born in Bath in 1945, and spent her childhood in Kingston-on-Thames, Surrey, where she still lives today.

Every other page features a piece of advice from Tracy Beaker or another favourite character from Jacqueline Wilson's bestselling books.
