About this deal

On the right side of the phone are the power and volume keys, which fall nicely under thumb or finger, although volume up can be a little bit of a stretch. It wasn’t too long ago that you’d have been laughed out of the shops if you asked for a phone with four cameras, but now, well, a smartphone fitted with multiple camera arrangements is as common as a primary school child doing the floss dance. Or a cucumber sandwich in the home of a Brexit voter. Maximum size for each attachment is 10MB (rar,jpg,zip,pdf,war,txt,docx,doc,png,mp3,mp4,xls,xlsx,gif,jpeg are supported). If you have problem NO Sound when receiving Text messages.. Most times this happen when you Turn off Sound for Text Messages. So you have to Turn ON it again. To do this, you have to go Messages. Make sure that Ringing volume is full. all In-screen Fingerprint Scanner Probably the fastest in-screen fingerprint reader that we have used so far

The Kirin 980 works alongside 8GB of RAM on the Pro and 6GB of RAM on the regular P30, while gaming and graphics are taken care of by the Mali G76 GPU. Put your android phone in a small bag plastic/polythene with rice and seal/tie it and keep it for an one day or two day after that it will be dry.

Sound Quality

And since we have started pointing out the flaws in EMUI that you probably will not hear about anywhere else, let us also point out some other weird decisions that Huawei has made. For example, you do have a raise to wake function on the P30 Pro, which works mostly well, but for some weird reason is disabled by default and hidden in settings. It’s almost like Huawei does not want you to use the coolest features in its interface!

unless, Find Sound Mode and change it to Sound Only mode. No Ringing for Text Messages / Turn On Vibrate for Text Messages. Of course, the Huawei P30 Pro’s star feature isn’t the processor, its battery life or even the swish design, but the quadruple Leica camera array. Before I get into the specifics of how this all works, let me run you through the specifications of each camera and why each one is important. The primary snapper is an optically-stabilised 40-megapixel unit with a wide aperture of f/1.6. What’s particularly special here is that, rather than using an RGB Bayer filter on top of the sensor to capture in full colour, this camera employs the less commonly used RYB filter, replacing the green elements of the filter with yellow. But what does this new ToF sensor actually add to the P30 Pro’s camera capabilities? Well, you won’t see many benefits with still photography or even video footage right now, although, in theory, it should enable more precisely cut out portrait images. What Huawei aims to do with it is to improve the phone’s AR (augmented reality) measurement features, meaning you should be able to measure distances, volumes and area to an increased 98% accuracy. This screen is also slightly better than the one on the Mate 20 Pro. The Mate had a very slight greenish cast, while this one here has more balanced colors and just looks nicer.I have spent the last week using the P30 Pro as my daily driver and most importantly, I have had this phone as my go-to camera on a trip to Paris, France, and I was eager to get some great photos. How did it work out? Read on to find out. Both the more affordable P30 and the premium P30 Pro are powered by Huawei’s newest in-house Kirin 980 chip. This was the first Android chip built on a 7nm manufacturing technology and it works about as fast as a Snapdragon 855, so these two are definitely up there with the fastest Android phones around. And it's good that Huawei has not downgraded the regular P30 in any way and it has the same powerful processor as the Pro. Speakers, Noise Suppression, aptX Support, Dolby Atmos, aptX-HD Support, Hi-Res Wireless Audio (HWA), LDAC

That's a solid outlay, meaning mostly flagship results here. We've had one or two glitches and app crashes in this phone - which we didn't get when moving into the Pro - but after some software updates things smoothed out to operate smoothly. On the base of the P30 Pro a central USB-C port is flanked by a speaker on one side and the SIM tray on the other. The SIM tray can hold two nanoSIM cards, providing dual-SIM capabilities, but you can opt to use the second slot to expand the storage on the handset instead. It might not look like much has changed on the surface but dig a little deeper and you’ll find a smorgasbord of big changes that go a long way towards justifying that sky-high price. There’s an awful lot of substance to Huawei’s new P30 Pro and, while time will tell whether its quadruple camera array has the same long-lasting appeal as its predecessor, the P30 Pro’s wide-ranging photographic capabilities are simply the icing on the cake of perhaps the most well-rounded flagship to date.

Many of its flagship rivals have higher-resolution displays, with Samsung, HTC and LG all equipping their top-tier phones with QHD panels, while the Sony Xperia 1 goes a step further with a 4K display. Measuring 6.47in across the diagonal, the P30 Pro’s screen is slightly larger than the 6.1in display of the regular P30. Its specifications remain the same, as the P30 Pro uses an AMOLED panel yet again and the resolution is 2,340 x 1,080. You might think this is a bit of a downgrade on the 1,440p display offered by the Mate 20 Pro, but this lower-resolution screen has the added benefit of prolonged battery life, which I’ll discuss in further detail later on. Huawei appears to be aware of this, sort of, as in some markets it provides a translucent silicone case in the box with the phone, providing some much-needed grip and light protection while not spoiling the design. However, those in the UK won't get this in the box.Instead, the P30 Pro, like the Mate 20-series of phones before it, only supports Huawei’s nano memory cards. These are physically smaller but more expensive than their micro-sized equivalents, and so make almost no sense whatsoever. Still, with at least 128GB of internal storage, you probably won’t need one anyway. Huawei P30 Pro review: Display Otherwise, you’re looking at a slightly bigger 6.47in OLED screen, with a resolution of 2,340 x 1,080, and a 4,200mAh battery. It’s also running the latest version of Android (Android 9.0 Pie). What’s particularly special about the P30 Pro, however, is its intriguing quadruple camera array. Huawei P30 Pro review: Price and competition The same can’t be said about Huawei’s fiddly camera app. It’s overly complex and can be an incredibly convoluted and confusing experience, even for veteran photographers. If you want to access the wide-angle and zoom shooting modes, for instance, you have to switch from the phone’s maximum 40-megapixel shooting resolution to 10-megapixels and tediously cycle through each mode. There’s nothing in the camera software that tells you this beforehand. Huawei P30 Pro review: Verdict Setting up fingerprints on the scanner is a little time-consuming, with a number of scans required for each digit you register – we’d recommend both thumbs and forefingers for ease of use. Once set up though, the scanner works with great accuracy and speed.
