The neoHub Gen 2 is the central hub and communication gateway for the Heatmiser Neo System, connecting the neoStat, neoAir, and neoPlug devices. With the neoHub Gen 2, you can control your heating and hot water system from your smartphone, making it an essential component of your setup. Mesh Networking: With the neoHub Gen 2 managing network traffic, data is routed from neoStat to neoStat using the most efficient path. This mesh networking capability ensures excellent coverage throughout your home. The neoPlug can be used to boost the signal in areas with weak signals. The product is let down by two very simple things that could have been so easily incorporated in the design and both relate to the hub powering. The hub cannot be powered through the ethernet cable, all other six appliances in my network are. Then to compound the issue they supply in the kit a short USB cable where unless you want the hub in the middle of your lounge you have to go out and buy a longer cable.
