About this deal

Royal Crush (set after Royal Wedding) – Olivia Grace Clarisse Mignonette Harrison is turning thirteen. Even better, she’s finally starting to get the hang of this princess thing. Just in time, too, since her half-sister, Princess Mia Thermopolis, is expected to give birth to twins any day now! We need to have a relaxing weekend away from orange-throwing Genovians and your insane family." (92) In 2015, a spin-off series for tweens launched. Mia's half-sister Olivia made her debut in From the Notebooks of a Middle School Princess, released in May 2015. The new book in the Princess Diaries series, The Quarantine Princess Diaries, was published in March 2023.

I don't know what's happening to me. I lie when I should tell the truth, and tell the truth when I lie." (4)She is the tallest girl in her class, has feet like skis, mouse-brown/dishwater blonde hair that is triangular in shape and a chest line that is flatter than a surfboard. My friend called me one night at 1 am and started talking about this book. She read this book during her teenage life and it was very exciting to her at that time. I was so down that day, sad and miserable really. So when she was telling me this light, fluffy romantic story, I felt like this is what I really needed right now. She described the whole story for 2 hours. It will forever be a beautiful memory for me. The Princess Diaries, Volume VII and 3/4: Valentine Princess, published December 2006, but chronologically fits here, being presented as an old journal Mia finds of her Freshman Valentine's Day two years after the fact.

Princess Mia – Mia has been invited to speak at a gala for Domina Rei, an elite society of powerful businesswomen. But what could she possibly have to say? Michael has broken up with her, her bff Lilly won’t speak to her, and her parents are forcing her to see a therapist. Just when things couldn’t get worse, Mia discovers a long forgotten diary of a teenage princess of Genovia. What it reveals might change everything. Now as an adult reader, I do find it kind of interesting and fun that with regard to Mia’s issues throughout The Princess Diaries with her best friend Lily Moscovitz and her staunchly traditional and Genovian nobility grandmother, while these two characters at first appear to be rather majorly different, well, with regard to their arrogance, obstinacy and their my way or the proverbial highway kind of Weltanschauung both Lilly and Grandmère are actually annoyingly similar but with the main issues being that at the end of The Princess Diaries Lili Moscovitz apologises to Mia and sees the errors of her ways whereas the Mia’s grandmother dies not and likely never will. When he finnaly 'satisfied' himself with Finnula, he was then again, unsatisfied at the same time. Yo! When Hugo wants to marry Finnula she goes all 'oh I don't know'. (Although she was going to marry his father, but thats a diffeent story.) Well a bit too late for having second thoughts. When she refuses to see him, he barges through her bedroom door and has his way with her again. But no - we have instead a goofy resolution in which Michael swoops in to save Mia as she’s trying to persuade an antivaxxer relative to see the light. The thing is, Mia’s idea was good! She brings a former antivaxxer relative, a peer of this one, to explain why Covid is a genuine threat. We all know that quoting scientific facts like Michael often doesn’t convince antivaxxers, so would it not have been more effective to both make Mia’s strategy work AND reinforce how socially and verbally intelligent she is???? I guess the goopy love declaration and the kiss at the end are supposed to do that for us! So. If you've been dying to know what happens to Mia next, I really think you're gonna enjoy the hell out of this one!Princess on the Brink – At last, Mia is a junior. A upperclassperson. So why is it that everything is going so terribly wrong? What is she doing in Intro to Creative Writing? When she has made it through Algebra and Geometry, why must she be faced with Precalculus? Absolutely LOVED this! Okay, so I wasn't really planing to read this ever, because I was quite satisfied with the movie and I've heard that the books were really different. But then, Shannon from Leaning Lights (booktuber) how cute, fun they were and I find it really cheap on Thrift Books and they gave me a 20% discount because of my birthday, and I had to buy it, OK? xD But it was such a good decision. I'm still surprised that about how much I enjoy this story. I laugh out loud multiple times and I like Mia a lot. She is a little clueless but, c'mon, who wasn't at age 14? In general I love how seeing her grow through the story and agree with her point of views about a lot of things. How far we've come: I'm in my 30s now and can't be bothered to be sheepish about whatever I choose to read (and anyway...e-readers for the win). But some things haven't changed, and I knew the second I saw this book that I'd be reading it as soon as humanly possible. How could I not? One must keep up with the world news, after all, and that includes the goings-on in Genovia.

Twenty years down the road, and my first foray into the world of YA Lit via Meg Cabot’s spectacularly fun series still has my heart. Staying home, trying to stay safe amidst a pandemic while stressing incessantly demanded a return to happier times. Mia Thermopolis is an average urban ninth grader living in Greenwich Village with her single, liberal mother and semi-famous painter, Helen Thermopolis. She begins keeping a journal after her mother begins dating her Algebra teacher, Mr. Gianni, whose subject Mia is currently failing. Mia has a crush on Josh Richter, the boyfriend of popular cheerleader Lana Weinberger, who often makes fun of her, though she also unknowingly harbors feelings for Michael, the brother of her best friend Lilly Moscovitz. ... 'You're not Mia Thermopolis any more, honey,' Dad said. 'You're Amelia Mignonette Grimaldi Thermopolis Renaldo. Princess of Genovia.' Obviously, this is a book about how fictional “haves” survived the pandemic, frequently with Mia downing wine at 11 am, predicting that the next book will probably be called: Rehab Princess. I was sad that Princess Mia had given up being a vegetarian/pescatarian because that seemed like an ideal she should have maintained and such an easy one to keep. But she does keep her friends and realizes just how important family and friends are. And maybe that’s the most important conclusion that the pandemic brought to us all. Oh Meg, thank you, thank you so much for this amazing book that exceeds all expectations, something us fans all hoped for but never dared to dream.I normally don't read Historical Romances, but I really liked the short snippets of this story we got in Forever Princess and I thought that I should give it a go. I was not disappointed. The earliest two books in the series are the ‘Princess Diaries’ released in October 2000. The second publication of the series was the second volume entitled “Princess in the Spotlight” that was released in June 2001. It is also known as the Take 2. Anyway, the romance part is very sweetly done. They're a loving couple with a good sense of humor, and I thoroughly enjoyed reading about them.
