EQUINOX 600 offers 3 single frequencies of 5, 10, and 15 kHz, giving a 3-times range of 5 to 15 kHz. As a result of optimising for these conditions, this new frequency may respond differently for users compared to the other single frequencies. I have seen some confusion on the internet regarding the differences between the Minelab EQUINOX 600 and EQUINOX 800. While the 800 is clearly The Daddy of the series, reviews are suggesting that the 600 is still a very capable machine and superb value for money.
